It doesn't matter. She's so hideously ugly that nobody else would ever want her, and that's what Frank loves about her. Sure she loves to run around and try to take the piss out of him, but the truth is that Frank is superior to her in every possible way. He's the sole reason she ever got her name into the public, he's the reason she's able to sit at home and tweet all day, and he's the reason she managed to shill out her laughably bad game. He's given her a life and it's barely made a dent in him. She's little more than a pet project to him. He's a successful patent agent, a reasonably famous scifi artist, and he's got a Ph.D. Compare that to John who's ran several businesses that were handed to him into the ground, failed 10 years at a 4 year college, and his only claim to fame is a failed game Frank essentially bought for her. Their whole relationship has been nothing but a chance for the abusive controlling Frank to exert his power over John Flynt the failure in the ultimate power fantasy. Bri can sit around mocking him and trying to seem like she's the one who wears the gut belt in the family, but it doesn't matter because the truth is Frank knows that he's essentially her life support, and no amount of "lol look at my dumb husband" tweets is ever going shift the power between the two.
He's essentially put a monkey on a pedestal and made it a king for shits and giggles. Sure the money might fling it's poop at him and laugh, but Frank is fine with it because he knows at any moment he can kick the pedestal out from under the monkey and laugh as it falls to the ground.
I'd say I felt sorry for Brianna, but in all truth...what's there to feel sorry for? There's no fall from grace, there's no "he/she should be doing better", with everything we know about John's life, he's exactly where he should be.
I regret that I can only rate Feels once.
