It doesn't matter. She's so hideously ugly that nobody else would ever want her, and that's what Frank loves about her. Sure she loves to run around and try to take the piss out of him, but the truth is that Frank is superior to her in every possible way. He's the sole reason she ever got her name into the public, he's the reason she's able to sit at home and tweet all day, and he's the reason she managed to shill out her laughably bad game. He's given her a life and it's barely made a dent in him. She's little more than a pet project to him. He's a successful patent agent, a reasonably famous scifi artist, and he's got a Ph.D. Compare that to John who's ran several businesses that were handed to him into the ground, failed 10 years at a 4 year college, and his only claim to fame is a failed game Frank essentially bought for her. Their whole relationship has been nothing but a chance for the abusive controlling Frank to exert his power over John Flynt the failure in the ultimate power fantasy. Bri can sit around mocking him and trying to seem like she's the one who wears the gut belt in the family, but it doesn't matter because the truth is Frank knows that he's essentially her life support, and no amount of "lol look at my dumb husband" tweets is ever going shift the power between the two.

He's essentially put a monkey on a pedestal and made it a king for shits and giggles. Sure the money might fling it's poop at him and laugh, but Frank is fine with it because he knows at any moment he can kick the pedestal out from under the monkey and laugh as it falls to the ground.

I'd say I felt sorry for Brianna, but in all truth...what's there to feel sorry for? There's no fall from grace, there's no "he/she should be doing better", with everything we know about John's life, he's exactly where he should be.

I regret that I can only rate Feels once.

It's one of those very rare cases of a person ending up unknowingly becoming a toy to somebody else, and thinking they've actually made it big. It's like something out of a Shakespearean play, or a Poe story.

Who is this Cid guy supposed to be, and what is he talking about?

Obviously he's not being as blunt to Brianna Wu / John Flynt as this Cid would be. John only wants Hillary to win because she's a woman, something John will never be. Her winning will somehow validate his "I AM a woman!" fantasy. What a toxic person. A disgusting, over-privileged, sociopathic tranny telling other people what to do on twitter, while telling everyone else how she/he will not be told what to do. Transplaining, indeed.

I was wondering why Frank ever married that....thing, and I think you've hit the nail on the head. His previous wives weren't traps, so it's not like he's into that sort of thing, and they were much better looking than Wu. I have no idea what they were like, personality-wise, but they couldn't be as big a harpy as Wu is. He's obviously the bread-winner, so it's not like he's in it for money.

Exactly. If Frank decided to stop supporting her, Bribri would literally end up on the streets faster than you can say "crack-a-lackin' ".
Frank is a known abuser, those types love having someone who is totally dependent on them in every single way.

I would argue that she has made a dent in him, or at least in his finances, though. She cost him at the very least half a million dollars. Probably much more, considering that we don't have updated figures for Rev60, and she has had other stillborn projects. And let's not forget her lifestyle has to cost a fair bit : it's Frank paying for her trips and paid events, expensive food and compulsive purchases of vidya and overpriced gadgets.

Sure, he's rich, but not so fantstically wealthy that he can scoff at 500+ grand. With what he's spent on Trannyzilla, he could've at least bought a house instead of leeching off his uncle.

They obviously recognise one of their own.

And at least she finally fucking admits it.

Yeah I know this is par for the course as far as John Flynt is concerned but seeing John in his naked hatred and assholery makes it beyond incomprehensible that anyone is willing to associate with him under any circumstances. And this of course is the same fucker who complained that harassment against women is endemic on Twitter. Fuck off John.

You know, something just crossed my mind... what if he's waiting for Brianna to go absolutely full retard?

She still has some people listening to her. If he dumped her now, she'd be shittalking him on Twitter in seconds, and Frank has a lot to lose. If she loses what reputation she has left, though, everyone would just dismiss it as a crazy tranny being bitter over a break-up.

Nice...

Yes, John, it's Nader's fault that you voted for Bush directly and went to his inauguration. You were "swept up in the excitement".

"[Flynt] left school the first time to start his own video animation company, came back, and dropped out for good in 2001 after getting swept up in the excitement surrounding George W. Bush's election as president. His parents were big donors, and they got him a ticket to an inaugural ball. That led to a stint working in Washington."
In fact, here's you lie-bragging to a book publisher about hanging out with Bush and Dick Cheney on 9/11:

Part of the reason I hate Tom Clancy novels, is I’ve worked in DC politics, I’ve been there at the highest levels, and Clancy gets pretty much every detail wrong. I’ll spoil the ending for you, this novel spends 250 pages with “girlpower adventures” and then a 9/11 like event happens that is absolutely realistic with what I and my friends experienced that day trying to make it to the PEOC, Presidential Emergency Operations Center.

Those silly kids in their 20s. It takes the wise perspective of a 30-something to really see the light, right, John?

Here's you in your 30s, John, whining about Edwards and Kucinich losing:

John Edwards surrendered yesterday to the reality that he will not be president in 2008. It was a hard day for many progressives like myself - we'd just lost Dennis Kucinich days earlier. Many of us feel that the chance to reverse the damage of the Bush Apocalypse TM went with him.

Then we have one of your many vitriolic, misogynist rants about Hillary Clinton:

One thing is for certain. Hillary Clinton's candidacy is about sweet-talking the country to it's knees to felate her selfish, uncaring ego. Here's hoping that she has her disingenuous ASS handed to her in the Pennsylvania primary today by Obama.

It's all but impossible for me to understand why people support her. Experience? It seems to me that Hillary has exactly as much experience as Laura Bush. I think all her talk about "being ready from day one" is just arrogant, narcissistic posturing, par for the Clinton course.

I can't understand why this terrible person is willing to tear the country apart by trying to tweak a win out of the superdelagates - it raises serious questions. Is she really so self-centered that she'd subject the country to another divided presidency? Has she become the very Republican-attack machine that destroyed her? Will she do anything, no matter how dishonest or disingenuous to become president?

The answers are yes, yes and yes.
It's wonderful that the 52 thousand people following you have such an "ethical" "journalist" who discloses all the facts instead of wildly misleading them, as once again you get up on your pulpit of total sanctimony.

Finally, the word is spelled "millennial", John. You're functionally illiterate.

You know, something just crossed my mind... what if he's waiting for Brianna to go absolutely full exceptional individual?

She still has some people listening to her. If he dumped her now, she'd be shittalking him on Twitter in seconds, and Frank has a lot to lose. If she loses what reputation she has left, though, everyone would just dismiss it as a crazy tranny being bitter over a break-up.
I kind of figure that Frank is playing the long game with Brianna. Sure, she's having her fun now being a dumbass on Twitter, pissing away his money on toys, and getting her little digs in on him but he's still completely in control. Most of the toys are things he would probably buy himself and, if the snide comments bothered him, it would stop immediately. But he lets it all go because Brianna's narcissistic need to be the center of attention keeps people from paying him much mind and all the "candid" photos help to make him seem younger in spirit. More importantly, he knows that Brianna is entirely at his mercy and too stupid to see the long-term implications of that. He very well could one day get rid of her, use all of Brianna's antics to establish a narrative that benefits him and leave her utterly broken. After all, if you compare the two in terms of how they portray themselves publicly, Brianna looks more like the abusive one. Frank could ride that sympathy wherever he wants.

I have to imagine it's a thought that crosses his mind every time Brianna forces him into another ridiculous pose for a picture.
