Two 8-month-old pit bulls that were loose in Nanaimo attacked several children, severely injuring at least one. Other people that came to aid the children were also injured.

The children were playing in a yard at the house of one of their friends. The dogs were from somewhere else in the neighborhood and had been cited for being at large previously.

One of the owners of the dogs came and got the dogs but did not stick around. The news interviewed the other owner, a Dangerhair that looked to be in her late 40s or early 50s. While she was devastated at what her dogs had done, she said to the reporter, "People are saying, look at this from the prospective of a parent, well, these dogs are my kids, too," and then she broke down crying.

It was later reported both dogs were euthanized, as there have been other incidents prior to this one, and due to the severity of the injuries the one particular child sustained.

To the dangerhair dog owner I would have to say, "If these dogs were your KIDS, you did a lousy job of raising them. Thank heavens you didn't spawn any of your own."

A Pitbull can still be locked on to something even if dead. Checking it unconscious releases that, I've seen stinking a finger up it's butt work too, and a breakstick always works.
Sticking a finger up the butt does not work. A fellow Kiwifarmer many pages back talked about how they got a new German Shepherd puppy or something. A shitbull attacked it; he stuck a finger up the butt and nothing happened. Chokeholds and breaking the pitbull's arms (grabbing arms and pulling as far back as possible) gets them to stop. That, and a bullet. Breaksticks aren't always reliable if you can't get it in the mouth (not enough room to get it in)

Breaking its skull with a blunt object is the most reliable method after a bullet

I wonder how many shitbull owners know what a breakstick is let alone own one.
Majority are stupid enough to never take into consideration what they were initially bred and used for. I would assume these fucking tards just think they were recently used for fighting because of that shit stain of a human being Michael Vick.

What a loveable scamp!
Dog is displaying signs of fear with paw lifting, unusual jumpiness, stiff body language, and growling. How unusual for a pitbull, who normally would never growl (that would ruin its chance for a dog to think it's friendly so it can get close enough to kill them). This is not true dog aggression. This is a dog telling you to back away. A dog with true aggression (standard pitbulls) wouldn't growl. They'd go straight for the kill. Interesting to see in a pit.

The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals disagrees with DogsBite.org in its statement on pit bulls. The ASPCA says: "Laws that ban particular breeds of dogs do not achieve these aims and instead create the illusion, but not the reality, of enhanced public safety.

"All dogs, including pit bulls, are individuals," the ASPCA adds. "Treating them as such, providing them with the care, training and supervision they require. Judging them by their actions and not by their DNA or their physical appearance is the best way to ensure that dogs and people can continue to share safe and happy lives together."
I'm not gonna say I gave them a lot of money, but I'm never giving them money again.

It really does defy logic, as pitbulls named XL and other names to get round the ban within the UK has risen, so too has the number of people getting killed by dogs. Mean just look at this thread, 2018 was mostly american with a rare one from another county, now much more common to see global stories about shitpull attacking or killing someone.

Pitbulls just... walk around, side eye you, and lay on top of you
In context I never let pit or dominant dogs try to lay or sit in me. Other dogs do it because they want to be cuddled, dominant-prone do it to passively try and own you.
I might be blind but what does that pit even have in it's grip? Is it that guy's other hand?
I think it has that brown dog's throat in its jaws and they're trying to pry it open.

Interesting to see in a pit.
Checking the guy's channel, the recorder is actually that dog's owner. Absolute piece of shit subhuman, he encourages his dogs to become hyper aggressive and insane with anxiety/rage.

Who would win in a fight? One trillion pit bulls, or the Sun?
I don't know, but we should definitely figure it out by experimenting

That and let them sleep in the same bed as you. The middle-aged women that swear by pure-positive training will make shit up about dominance not being real, that's just a complete asspull. The boss sleeps in the best spot, and if your dog has even a slight tendency to think it's the boss, you shouldn't give it an inch. Dogs crave discipline, if you let it do whatever you're gonna end up with a maladjusted dog.

There is zero evidence that a dog sleeping on your bed creates dominance issues. The idea that dogs sleep in beds to assert dominance over their owners is based on a misunderstanding of wolf behavior. Wolves do have a dominance hierarchy, but it is based on factors such as age, sex, and social status. If you want to convince people otherwise, do a study.

"Some dogs growl or bark when you approach the bed because they may view their sleeping spot as territory to be guarded. Consistent training can break this habit." Not a dominance issue.

They can be okay dogs, but they require a strict, experienced owner. They aren't for first-time owners, folks with kids, or folks with other animals.

Folks have to realize that these are bred to be fighting dogs and they'll always have those instincts. One could be a perfectly fine pupper until something triggers it. I could be something minor like a certain sound, smell, or even movement. Then all bets are off.

The biggest issue I have with Pitbulls is their crazed lobbyists that do anything to defend them. They pay to have dog-attack statistics not list breeds (Because 60+% of them were Pits or Pit-mixes), oppose insurance requirements, defend irresponsible owners who let their dogs maul someone, ect.

But what I really hate are shelters that deliberately try to hide a dog being a Pit or a Pit Mix because "They won't get adopted". No shit. Because most people fucking know better. Lying about a dog being a dangerous breed is irresponsible at best and should be a criminal offense.

Sheriff's deputy killed by her boyfriend's pitbull she was watching. Fucking murder machines.

She died saving her son from the dog, too. Although she isn't too bright in the first place, I remember seeing she owned pibbles of her own.

You know how in a military context, when a missile independently acquires and tracks its target you say it's gone pitbull? This is what they mean

Look at how it starts shaking immediately after landing the bite. Must've been some messed up injuries.
