What anime should we recommend for Null - Operation: Hard Mode

I wanna recommend Black Lagoon but it has a bunch tropey things I think Null would hate like the Romanian vampire loli, combat maids and the gratuitous pantyshots in the Greenback Jane arc. It's a shame though because BL is usually my go-to show to put on with people who don't really watch much or even like anime. Therefore, I will recommend Berserk '97 instead.

Its kinda the same thing with Hellsing, It is basically not anime until it decides to shove in tropes that honestly dont need to be there.

I think a movie would be more appropriate than an anime series, an anime has to fill too many tropes and seduce too many audiences (including those that like little girls and fan service).
I'm sure he would appreciate a movie like Jin-Roh, it's basically violence, politics, and a man's humanity. No Japanese perversion IIRC.

A movie would be good, the problem is how many are there anymore that arent just tie ins. You have a good reccomendation, and maybe something like... A Silent Voice, maybe, would be a good pick, but not having access to shows makes shit hard. Maybe Demon Slayer. Mugen Train was lit.

I'd suggest Gurren Lagann for some over-the-top mech fun, but Yoko is probably too much for Null's tastes.
