I love how they can't fathom why kids like Hot Wheels and attribute it to being a conspiracy by Big Auto Industry. Could it be because kids like brightly colored cars that zoom around really fast? What is a kid going to do with a fucking toy city bus, pretend to take the bus to work and stop by the funko pop store after?

It's weird how they're so dissociated from what the average person wants that they can't even understand why kids don't want to play with a toy bus over a Hot Wheels set. I know they call "car brained" people a cult, but I'm just going to say this. If you look around you and think that over 90% of people are in a cult except for you and a select group of others, I have news for you.

Why do they always promote an unhealthy lifestyle like eating fried chicken and smoking pot? If I was an urbanist this would be the exact opposite of the messaging I want.

And remember this is the group of people who advocate how getting rid of cars will automatically make them healthier. Me thinks cars aren't the issue behind why most of these redditors are unhealthy.

Both my nephews love cars, but one especially. Ever since he was born, if it had wheels, he was playing with it. Lego City and Technic along with Hot wheels have been a God send

On every single lane surface road I've been on when a slower vehicle like a tractor trailer, tractors, or other farm equipment will usually move to the side and let you pass or they're going a very short distance and you aren't delayed for half an hour going behind them. This guy makes them trail slowly behind then for 3 blocks instead of dismounting and moving onto the side of the road for less than 10 seconds to let them pass, I bet he would be the type of person to blow past the school bus when it's stopped with flashing lights because he's not a danger to pedestrians on the bike , bbut he's fully entitled to the road.

There's something hilarious to me imagining this redditor getting asshurt by a school bus of all things. Partly because they're the same people who advocate for things like buses and public transport, but also because it's not some guy in a lifted truck or one of those SUVs they keep harping on about, it's a fucking school bus honking at him.

I find it funny how one of their talking points is how cars are inherently selfish because they're for private use for one individual, but when it comes to bikes some how it's OK for this redditor to literally impede traffic for dozens of people. It's like the concept of personal rights and freedoms does not compute in their minds until it affects them directly. Yes, you have the legal right to do that, but it's literally at the expense of impeding everyone behind you.

Can someone explains how this dude's "e-bike" can possibly "cap" at 20mph? Surely he can help it along by pedalling?

By the way, preferring to get hooted at by a bus up an entire hill in preference to taking your fucking bike off the road so that the bus can pass is so typical of these redditors.

The more I'm around my co workers, my urge to buy a two cylinder Honda rises by the day. The Fuckcars crowd only ensures that one day it'll happen. I won't be slowing down busses, they'll be eating my dust lol. Thing is with bikes, more cylinders= better fuel burn. While I want a 2 cylinder for the fun factor, a Gold Wing is what u want for a low carbon footprint
