Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Not my jurisdiction, so no. Ask @Trombonista .

Reporter: "Mr. President, is Bakhmut still in Ukraine's hands? The Russians say they've taken Bakhmut."

Zelensky: "I think no. But you have to understand, there is nothing, they destroyed everything [...] Bakhmut is only in our hearts".

For context, Sky News interpreted this as an admition that Ukraine lost Bakhmut, saying "Mr Zelenskyy said he thought Ukraine had lost the city,"

Few hours later he changed his mind, saying “Bakhmut is not occupied by the Russian Federation as of today.”, he then compared Russia's devestation on Bakhmut to atomic bombing of Hiroshima, while top generals conceded that they only control an “insignificant” part of the of Bakhmut

If the bitch wanted Bakhmut to be in one piece he should've declared it an open city. Instead he had the buildings mined while having his troops fight to the last, forcing Russia to have them all bombed to pieces in order to be able to capture them.

Huge numbers of people across the west have no principles, believe in nothing, have superficial if any attachments, and are generally adrift in life.

Then CNN tells them they're fighting evil Putler for muh democracy in Ukraine and it makes them feel like they're part of a cause - the economy being shit is the sacrifice they're making for that cause. Just like their Slava Ukraini flags, it reinforces their new identity as a devoted member of the homefront, fighting the good fight.
Yep, and before that there was the scamdemic where wearing a mask and sitting at home snitching on your neighbors made you a hero. It's really enlightening, because it tells you how every single totalitarian movement got started, just like the washed out WWI vets who joined the Nazis or uprooted peasants working at factories joined the Bolsheviks. People who are spiritually dead (what you described) can join any cause as long as it promises them power and guidance in their life and the mass media for the past century has made it very easy for those movements to spread.

This is why the same people who lecture you about the evils of xenophobia and how we all now know better than to be racist and how we're all marching into the superior future turned out to be the most blatant xenophobes and racists as they railed against everything Russian from vodka to Tchaikovsky to blue cats. It's incredible. We haven't learned anything, and probably never will.

ITS OVER PUTIN-BROS! UKRAINE ENCIRCLED BAKHMUT! IT'S ALL OVER!

And I thought the Kali fiasco was a cultural faux-pas holy shit. He's lucky the nips haven't thrown him into the ocean.

Is there an estimate for how many casualties/fatalities occurred in Bakhmut? Both on RU and UA sides.
A few pages back had a pro-Russian journo claiming 57,000 Ukrainians were permanently de-Nazified (85,000 not fully de-Nazified) alongside 6,500 foreign mercenaries. Even if it isn't that high, that's still a pretty good number, although unfortunately Zman will drag 57,000 more Ukrops off the street for the next meatgrinder.

Haven't seen any on UA sides, but Biden says Russia suffered "over 100,000 casualties in Bakhmut".

Whether or not you believe him is up to you, though that number is suspect because US says only 30,000 Russians ever fought in Bakhmut, so I don't know where Biden got the extra 70,000

(85,000 not fully de-Nazified)
Does that mean injured?

It's true. To train the crew, set up the supply chains for spares and to train the pilots to operate and maintain the F-16s, takes months and months. Unless the Ukies are going to receive f-16s ready to be destroyed and pilots ready to kill themselves, they won't be able to launch them in the warzone this side of Halloween.

So, the same ICC whom the US shows more or less contempt, and now, probably will be blatantly ignored by Russia as well. What does this achieve again?

The effective range of an F-16 is about 400-500km (250-300 miles) for most missions in wartime conditions carrying a full armament of weapons. Google will tell you it's 800km (500 miles) but that's for a mission under ideal peacetime conditions where it takes off, flies in a straight line, drops one bomb and turns around to come straight back (nominal speed, afterburners never used, nobody shooting at you, zero evasive maneuvers, etc). They also require a runway of at least a mile to take off and land (two miles is preferable).

Look at a map of Ukraine and do the math. Even under those best-case estimates where could F-16's even operate? If such an air base exists Russia can destroy it before they even arrive or better yet wait until they're delivered and destroy the planes on the ground like they did the original Ukranian air force. Poland is too far away from the war zone to operate them from unless the plan is to use them to only patrol Lvov and maybe Kiev, places Russia doesn't even want - but then Poland would become a combatant themselves.

The whole thing is hopium and an excuse for countries to unload their aging F-16 fleets in exchange for a deal on new stuff.

There's nothing to say that those in Xinnie the Pooh's cabinet aren't bribed plants of the money-men. And while the regulations, anti-democratic and corporate hyper-vigilance may seem like an insurmountable hurdle, they're also a really great platform to lord over the common man from. Americans and those in the west can riot and have their voices heard with little consequence. In China, if you don't like your government fucking you over financially then tough shit. No food for you or your family at best, re-neducation at worst.
There are at least some clues that things may be a little different in China today. My memory of this is a little hazy, but I recall an incident in the last couple years, where the CCP made a bunch of demands on China's billionaires, which fundamentally boiled down to the notion that what they do must align with the interests of the Chinese people and state; the Bloomberg journo-kikes were losing their minds about that, and calling it "anti-business" etc. Xi does not seem afraid to make good on those threats. Just look at the unpersoning of Jack Ma, for example.

I do not think this makes China immune to Jewish influence, but it does make their peaceful takeover of China quite difficult. For that reason, I would expect to see something resembling WW2's "Judea Declares War on Germany" headline, or the more recent Russian equivalents, sooner or later. There has already been a substantial shift in posture with respect to Taiwan sabre rattling and such, which seems to only be intensifying over time. Not too long ago, it almost seemed as though the GOP leaned pro-Russia and anti-China, while the DNC leaned pro-China and anti-Russia, but now the swampy political establishments in both parties seem to have become firmly against both.

NAFO Dogpeople lahta are gonna have a long day trying to cover up this Great Fuckup.
Of course they aren't going to mention why 37 seven brigades, 2 regiments, 18 batalions, and 7 foreign legions tried and failed to hold a place that "nothing but ruins" for more than 200 days from being captured by angry bald man and a bunch of convicts. Total Russian L for sure.
