Inactive Andrew Dobson / Tom Preston / CattyN - STOP DOING SEXIST CRAP

Leave a few days to focus on art myself. Check and see not only does he continue to be an asshat to people (and wonder why no one likes him) but he's still riding the "boo hoo hoo I'm too traumatized to draw" bus.

Good ol' Dobby can always assure I will never miss anything no matter how long a lulz break is. Keep on trucking dobbo!

They're going to make a few live action shorts of that indie game Life Is Strange. Guess what Dobson's focus was on.

1) If anything, both girls were bi.

2) Only ONE of the girls ended up dying.

And 3) She only does if you choose to let her die.

You putz.

This seems to be a cycle with Dobson: First he gets really smug and self righteous about something (Usually lesbians, video games or cartoons) then he crashes into slumber because he's really sad and it's the trolls fault he can't draw anymore and then after enough asspats he used to go back to drawing but nowadays he seems to eventually go back to being smug on Twitter whenever the next big SJW bandwagon comes along.

He's too depressed for actions.

"I've tried nothing and I'm all out of ideas" seems to sum that up pretty well. It's posts like these that make me think he's not seeing any kind of professional help and never has - after all, a shrink wouldknow what to do and Dobson hasn't made any progress in over a year.
I'd assume someone who went to art school would understand how censorship affects artists.
Ha. You're talking about a man that has repeatedly stated that "it's not censorship, when the producer changes it", as in: a hundred danger haired harpies shriek into the ears of some poor artist for weeks, who then will change some minor detail about his work. That's not censorship. But of course, that's only applicable to things Dobson doesn't like. The moment the same happens to something he enjoy, he's pissed. I know, I know, Dobson's a hypocriticla asshole. More news at 11.

And since he's such a douchenozzle during his smug-time, you really feel absolutely no pity when the moodswing hits him.

I have to say, the level of dismissive arrogance and venom in his last tweet - directed at a complete stranger - really took my breath away. It's not "die in a fire" terrible, but knowing it comes from someone who spends at least half their online time trying to drum up a pity parade for their #sadbrains, it's just like, damn, imagine how triggered and butthurt he would be if someone said something even a quarter as shitty as this to him. I mean, if you want to act like a shit online then that's your choice -- but own it (like @notch does, for instance. If you landed a sick burn on that guy he'd probably laugh and buy you a steak dinner, not act like he's a Victim of Internet Bads).

The best part is how quickly the blue bear went from "i am a confidant asshole who mocks others" to "my life is perpetually ruined by sociopathic cyberbullies". A tiny part of me wanted to save the last tweet and be ready to fucking fire it right in his stupid face with his very next case of 'i'm constantly raped by cyberdrama :(' but like so many times in the past, he's already got there before I can blink.

And knowing my luck, if I went and picked out some stockphotos of kittens and ducklings ("hey hang in there here's some photos of some baby animals you're welcome") he'd probably be back fighting on the frontlines of Twitter again.

Whichever studio is doing that reboot, did they not see how Ghostbusters (2016) turned out?

Remaking/rebooting a movie with a different demographic as the main character is not automatically a bad thing nor is it a guarantee it'll sink.

Ghostbusters didn't fail because of the all woman cast, it failed because it cast a bunch of unfunny, obnoxious SNL B-listers and put the whole thing in the hands of a man who thinks "lol Melissa McCarthy shit her pants!" is uproarious comedy.

Isn't The Rocketeer set during the early years of WWII? I generally don't have a problem with remakes starring minority or female leads but for fucks sake a black female lead makes absolutely no sense whatsoever for the setting.

That and the whole "go out of your way to insult the target fanbase at every opportunity".

Honestly, I feel like it's almost more sexist/racist to make a big deal about the actor being a woman/black. It makes it not about her accomplishments or her ability as an actor. All people like Dobson care about is that her gender and race.

Well if the premise is it's just some anti-social inventer building herself a jetpack then being a black woman works. It's only nonsense if she's held in the kind of esteem or power which someone like that would never have in the 40s. Like there's absolutely zero chance she'd be a marine using her jetpack to storm Iwo Jima or some shit like that.

It failed because the trailer was shit, that it was an obvious cash in reboot of a well beloved franchise, people associate the main characters and that they tried to sell that movie on an even cheaper gimmick.

In the original movie the guy was a millitary hero fighting the Nazis with his jetpack.
