My name is Erin. I've been a member of a great group of friend since late 2000, early 2001. I was born in a small town in the bayou in Louisiana. From my place of birth, I was EXPECTED to be someone who was into trawling.. the oil industry... rather primative things such as weaving and the like. The herritage is strong here, however, I was never bound to it.
My parents traveled the united states from when I was age 1 to age 5. I picked up much culture in these times of my life from different areas, different knowledge. Suposedly at age 2 I had the speach capability of the average 5th grader. I wont confirm or deny this. I continued on to live in Southeast Louisiana.. and found I was one of the very few smart ones here. I was one of the only ones who looked to the stars at night, who wanted a telescope for christmas, who started computer use at age 3... Hell, even today, most where I live do not own one.
I started roleplaying in 1996, when I was 8 years old. I had found a site, a great mud (which I DO recomend),
www.gemstone3.com. I played gemstone 3 for quite some time, until I discovered a new roleplaying game, dungeons and dragons. I had heard of this game, but never knew what it consisted of until I joined webrpg and met Jachra and Razor. They proceded to teach me and instantly I was hooked. I stayed on for about 6-8 months until I took a leave of absence... Why, I do not remember at the time... However, after some time, I got an instant message from an old friend.
Jachra had IM'd me telling me about openrpg. Webrpg had gone pay to play by the time I got back so I feared that all of my friends were lost. However, once I moved, I had found out that there had been a massive migration to openrpg. Since then I've been with this group and dont plan leaving in any forseeable future.
