It would likely be complicated and eat lots of CPU time dealing with it. Besides, the fediverse was never sold as a secure platform. The admin can read your DMs. Same with KF. Same with twitter. Same with basically every platform.

Because basically no service does that. People generally like services blocking spam or malware attachments or shit like that. Or scanning to see if people are using dm's to send csam. You can't do that if it's encrypted end to end. Also as said above spending cpu cycles and complicating your code base for something most people don't care about.

Initially I'd put it at an even level, but because it's graf who went on so many sperg outs about mUh InStAnCe SeCuRiTy, dms of him simping for rabies girls being leaked is far more humiliating than Christorian simping for e-whores.

Looks like Jim's anti Discord faggotry is legit. A lot of people may not literally use Discord, but they act like Discord fags via DMs on Twitter, Poast, here, etc.

If I was Jim, I wouldn't want to talk to any of his fans beyond "k thx" either. I'm honestly in disbelief that none have successfully Annie Wilkes'd him after his address was confirmed.
