He had a sperging out in US politics general, demanded that only mods be allowed to critique him, I cleaned up his shit, he started sperging out about other people (without naming them) breaking rules in general discussion (someone later moved it to mass debates), got angry that no one liked him, and left the site. There, now you're up to date

Honestly I don't even necessarily agree with that assessment, I think this is a site for sensitive people, because for the most part you can post with your greatest fear being that people are going to think your opinions are stupid. Outside of some aberrant situations, you won't be excluded unless you're mechanically hindering conversation.

Tumblr and Reddit are the places for sociopaths, only someone who was seriously emotionally compromised could handle an environment where anyone who says anything they aren't supposed to or expresses "unacceptable" sentiments is totally abandoned. That's a whole lot sadder imo.

Verily, this is a site for generally smart, contentious but well meaning, good thinking individuals who happen to go against the grain of pop culture and flavor-of-the-month political grandstanding who occasionally like to write/say FAGGOT and NIGGER. because they can. This is true freedom of speech.

However, you can expect a savaging if you continuously make yourself into a nigger faggot with ridiculous, spergy posts, but if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere.

No wonder registration has a disclaimer "Point of No Return".

It's interesting - there's a guy in a couple of threads (I won't say who it is because there's no need to be a dick) who clearly isn't the brightest dude to ever live. He consistently points out very obvious things and doesn't seem to have the strongest vocabulary and generally isn't operating on a very high level. But he's got a good attitude and doesn't derail anything and so I've never seen anyone say a mean word to him.

For being a bunch of evil psychopathic tranny murderers with a kill count and a hit list, the people here sure are nice. Nicer than almost anywhere I've encountered on the Internet.

I agree, I think people who are able to read the room get along just fine, even if there are disagreements. It’s those who jump into the discussion, shit all over everything and then get pissy when they get called out that are the problem. Maybe your scorching hot take fell flat, so just accept it and move on. It happens to everyone.

Since KF has been a refugee leper colony, people have just got used to the idea that discussion forums have been echo chambers and will apply that same logic here. So it’s always entertaining when someone applies those rules here and gets called a faggot.
