"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

No diesel is a dealbreaker. I want an engine for the apocalypse.
It sounds like they have Diesel models as recent as model year 2022 in the European market, you still might be able to find a relatively modern used model https://www.oto.com.sg/car-news/new-2022-toyota-hilux-gr-sport-announced-for-europe
Unless you're adamant, about buying new, I wouldn't write it off completely.
The other thing I'd bring into consideration is how common any given truck is in your area because that will greatly affect the market for spare parts once shit inevitably breaks.

The part about anime fans having to describe the plot of their favourite animes without being embarrassing. That's only really a modern anime problem. Stuff from the 80s and 90s is far more normal.

"In the ruins after World War 3, scientists build the 'perfect city'. Two members of the swat team as try to stop terrorists from hijacking a new super weapon, unknown to them, one of the terrorists is a disgruntled cop that blames the city for his wifes suicide."

"A skilled surgeon investigates a series of strange deaths of talented people."

"In a dark cyberpunk future, criminals fitted with explosive collars try to solve crimes in an attempt to reduce their sentences."

Even the more outlandish stuff is more based than the schoolgirl moeblob shit that is popular nowadays.

You're going to have a problem then. I can't speak for other countries, but at the moment there's a bit of a used car crisis in the UK. COVID combined with manufactures not making low-cost mass market vehicles for years, means anything worthwhile under £4000 has basically vanished.

If you want a vehicle cheap, a motorbike might be better option. Not diesel, but cheap* and fuel efficient.
*Though you have the same used price problems, they do at least manufacture bikes intended to cheap, entry level vehicles. You're still looking at a few grand + gear.

The big problem with almost any vehicle post 2010 are the computers. When the war with Ukraine started, some company (Telsa I think) shut down all the vehicles in and around Russia. Some cars even have DLC to control features that already exist. Again, old cars go for a premium.

your only option is the M35A2 "Deuce and a half". Don't get the A3 it's shit. The multifuel engine will run on basically anything, including vodka (it is best on diesel but it can run on gas in an emergency). With a fording kit it can go up to the windshield in a river, but you need to repack the hubs afterwards.

Ooh! This might be a goer! @Null you like donkeys: get four of them and a closed-carriage to pull and you're all set for the apocalypse!

All joking aside, all the Toyota utes and 4wd in Australia are diesel, is it not the same in Europe?
Australia is always 10 years behind the G7 with this shit. It wouldn't surprise me if you couldn't buy any petroleum fueled cars in the EU in <10 years.

I guess being behind the times has its perks.

I don't think Toyota would dare take away diesel vehicles in Aus since they're the only things people in the rural and outback will buy. They'd lose the majority of their sales if they did that. Also the country is so broad - and everything is spread out so far apart - that remote servos tend to need the type of fuel that expires the slowest. Too many communities in the middle of absolute nowhere to force the populace to switch away from diesel.

Operation Fuck You, Dad!

I hope this is just a shitpost.
In any case, it should be perfect for the next MATI to kick off pride month.

In 7. It's part of the WEF 2030 plan.

In the UK, people aren't buying electric as fast as the government wants. Normies are buying big american SUVs and luxury cars instead. A blog post talked about the government is considering putting quotas on vehicle companies that they have to have a percentage of sales be EVs, and if they don't meet quota they have to put people on a waiting list for "internal combustion engines" until they do meet quota. It will start at 20% EVs and go up each year until 2030 when no new ICEs can be sold.

I won't be surprised if the EU has something similar.

Two weeks ago people were asking you to comment on the Illuminaughtii situation.

A quick run down is shes a youtuber who manipulated and preyed on an 18/19 year old when she was in her 30s who she knew was mentally ill. She took control of his life becoming his landlord, his boss and the controller of his finances. Two months later she had treated him so poorly he went home for a break while he did that she swatted him and then personally came and stole the car he was paying off to her and all of his belongings since he was living out of it. She forced him to sign an NDA when she fired him so he could not speak of her behavior.

Skip to now years later and shes getting accused of plagarism. So she publicly posts his DM to her about being suicidal after she fucked over his life. He made a public announcement about it and her response was to send him a cease and desist order.

Her behavior is causing her to be canceled as sponsors drop her and subscribers leave. This all started right before we went off clearnet and its escalated daily since then.

The thread on her is here.

It's a meme at this point, and especially on here I've been known to sperg with the best of them about the Linux/Troon associations. But it really IS curious as to why so many troons seem to navigate to Linux like moths to a flame...🤔 I can't help but wonder if it's because the typical computer nerd/basement dwellers tend to use it, and now since trooning out is trendy, they're just more visible in that area? A funny/curious statistic that I've seen though is according to Pew research and a few others, the estimated worldwide population of self-identified troons is anywhere between .6-1.8% of the total worldwide scale of humanity.. which closely matches with the worldwide Linux marketshare of roughly 1.74 to 2.18%.... 🤔
Give us your take on this in the Linus Troon Tips segment so Smar can be enlightened.

To save us from Next Month (tm) I have something funny for you. An Associate and myself were playing with graphs and coding census data (it's pretty easy they even have a tiny dev kit for you if you ever have an autistic moment to play around.) Granted this is only the 2020 data.

I've been rewatching recent streams lately so I'm not entirely sure it was this week but I have to point out that the Hungarian Wax Pepper does look similar to the Sweet Banana Pepper but they are very different, Hungarian Wax is a lot spicier. https://www.chilipeppermadness.com/...at-chili-peppers/hungarian-wax-chili-peppers/

Note that 15000 SCU still isn't exactly hot, in fact for someone who's a chili head it's downright mild, a texture and flavor pepper mostly but it's still a far cry from the maybe 500 SCU the Banana Pepper gets up to. It is also called the Yellow Wax Pepper which is similar but different.

Reeeeee I guess as someone who grows peppers myself.
