reddit General

I legit just got perma'd from the NFL subreddit because I called the mods dumb in a meta thread about why the entire sub is just a regurgitated twitter feed.
They linked me to a microcephaly wiki page to explain why calling them smoothbrained was ableist lmfao
Insecure fucks
I think that might've been a corporate janny. I don't know if he gets paid to sweep it up (mods have been caught sweeping it up and taking bribes for companies like bad jannies), but that mod could literally have a gun pressed against his head if people say nono words. Should've called them wet-brained and accused them of alcoholism and then concern troll about their drinking problem.

Reddit has a partnership with the NFL so yeah I'm pretty sure that sub is closely watched by corporate jannies.

Moderation for that sub is strange. They don't care about you shitting all over the league or the owners but there's definitely stuff you can't talk about.

When the stuff with Kyrie Irving was going on the NFL was shitting itself because they know a lot of NFL players love Farrakhan. That entire area of discussion got deleted from the sub as quick as possible.

Remember those 30 seconds when the sub got upset about DeSean Jackson's comments and Shannon Sharpe supporting him?
I've never seen a janitor so busy using his broom.

The Narcissism subreddits have been hilarious ever since they devolved years ago from actual discussion to mass hysteria because some actual narcissist cunts got dumped once. It never gets old when they keep obsessing over "The Narcissist" (omnipotent ultimate puppet master mastermind boogeyman extraordinaire) :lit:

Yeah this whole apollo debacle kind of sucks for plebbit. I use reddit a lot for /r/hardware and combatfootage but if I ever try using plebbit on phone- it is basically just cancer, it makes me so poorly and mad at the internet with how bad it is. If they start messing with .old.reddit the sites kind of fucked. Shame watching sites like reddit and youtube slowly circle the plug hole over the past 15 years.

There's no way to monetize that API, it's getting insanely high and difficult to monetize traffic. Free content. It's gotta go unfortunately.

Why would Elon Musk do this?

Yet again it's proven that Musk's decisions of cutting costs and increasing prices is what a normal tech company would do in an economic downturn.

Sucks. Reddit is Fun/RIF is a solid little app, too.

Then again, less time spent on Reddit can only be a win in the long run.

The fuck is wrong with redditors?
Not much compared to any other site's userbases, including here. The only real difference is that they hide their freakishness beneath being "nice" and really smug and they're far less anonymous about their activities.
The entire site is a troon time bomb.
Did you used to have the account @Ruin before the password reset?

I wonder if any of the apps is going to try to become a standalone reddit alternative. They're already installed on tens of thousands of devices, have good ratings, the app would only need minor tweaking. Might be worth a shot if the other option is to kill the free version and nerf the paid one.
The real fireworks are going to happen when reddit inevitably bans amateur porn which is like 85% of it's content. Due to federal anti sex trafficking laws and banking regulations it is almost impossible to be publicly traded and host amateur' pornography.

Reddit desperately more than anything else wants to have an IPO and will almost certainly ban it eventually.
