The gall, the absolute gall of the state giving food to children and not a grown ass man with a full time job. The gall you guys!
For those not familiar. Until the pandemic stuff (or shortly before), no working age, non-disabled adult was eligible for "food stamps" (this is funds on an EBT card that can only be spent on groceries (the point of sale system literally knows what is and is not allowed, so you can buy food, but not cigarettes type thing). So, it doesn't matter if he was a low earner, he was not disabled, so not eligible for public assistance. Anyhoooo.... when he took custody of the current tug boat child, he became eligible for that type of needs based assistance. At some point, there was an enhancement added that individual states could take up that would allow low income single healthy people to get a LIMITED amount of assistance, but that was mostly for health insurance, not food.
So, outside of pandemic expansions, when those are turned off, no working age, non-disabled adult will be eligible for food stamps or many forms of public assistance because they're able bodied. That's because able bodied people get unemployment insurance in between when they're not working. So, if they don't get a job, they don't get any assistance when they're not working. Min wage in all states is plenty to rent a room and get basic food. If you want more, then you find a different job that pays more.
Also, on this topic and MeeMaw and Hunch being morons. They keep saying that if Hussy said he wants to get off disability from his twitch, then he's not disabled and he needs to go get a job. Hussy is saying that if he can make a steady income from Twitch (as in live streaming and being what ever he is online), then at some point, if he's making solid/steady income above $x amount, he won't be on disability any more. So the "job" he's able to do is being a Twitch streamer. So, unless there is another job out there for an old blind guy to dress nasty and randomly yell at people from his apartment, I'm not sure what other job they expect him to get. Being disabled doesn't mean that the person is dead. The person can do stuff. If they find a way of earning enough to support themselves, who wouldn't want to get off disability? It isn't like once someone is qualified for disability they never hope to get back to some more normal life again.
What's particularly disgusting is that MeeMaw supports and uses Hunch's "muh disability" when it suits her, but constantly hammers that Hussy has somehow pulled one over on the Social Security evaluation and re-evaulation systems to get disability when he's not genuinely disabled. Well, MeeMaw, you've filed COURT DOCUMENTS claiming Hunch is "disabled" when that is not true. His only "disability" is excessive illicit drug use and it would be interesting to see Hussy bring that up in court when you try to claim "muh disabled partner."

At one point, Clara claimed that Sylvana started out as a mod on her channel, was told to fuck off because she was too needy toward Clara, then went to simp over Negz (that Clara hated) and thus became an enemy of Clara. Then when Clara and Negz hooked up, Sylvana was now enemy of both of them. Sylvana does two things that Clara can't stand, she's keeps being younger and prettier than Clara.
She's uprooting her life and spending her money. You'll never convince me that Negz feels the same way about her.
She's giving Negz money, so right now, everything in his brain is deeply in love with her. When she turns off the $pigot, he'll tantrum and the spell will be broken.
