The left can't meme and Meatball's team can't meme. There was a pretty scripted "own" Desantis did to a protestor earlier in the week, this is what they tried to make. Just like liberal memes it is way too long for what it's trying to do and is trying to copy dated kek memes of '16 instead of the Magadonia present.

And here he makes it official that he doesn't believe in election fraud.

No surprise Florida is 20 points in Trump's favor.

Out of curiosity, what would you anecdotally ballpark the percentage of staffers, aides, wonks, etc who are True Belivers vs Fluid?
I'd not give percentages, but I can say the majority, on both sides of the aisle, are very fluid. They loosely align with one party or another but too long seeing how the sausage is made has jaded them beyond imagining as to how well the system works.

This is why he reads as inauthentic to people. This is clearly a position that was hammered out by a bunch of polling spergs pushing their glasses up their nose as and going 'wow, x, y, & z poll well, lets work those into a statement'. They think they're being so slick, and view voters as stupid rubes who can be easily manipulated by shit like this. But people sniff it out intuitively rather easily, and Trump's refusal to indulge this sort of campaigning was a big part of his appeal. Trump never ran on ending gay marriage, was lukewarm on abortion, and just didn't strongly support so many of the Evangelical block's lifelong political crusades, and imo that demographic respected him for his refusal to play politics and voted for him because they expected him to deliver on other things which they cared about.

This is what people mean when they make that now-infamous claim that 'I voted for him because I could picture myself having a bear with him'. Trump feels like a real person with his own positions, beliefs, and goals who will be honest with you and tell you what you're getting upfront. This new image of DeSantis feels like the old politicians that Trump vanquished in 2016 - a mirage fine-tuned in response to polling data about general popular sentiment. You can't have a beer with an inauthentic chameleon.

Holy shit, I haven't seen a self-immolation this complete since John-Paul Neumann. Can you prove yourself to be any more ineffective, you limp-dicked meatball?
Gosh, how could a law about curriculum in public schools fail to stop people from wearing red t-shirts on private property they paid to be admitted to!
Next they're going to point out how the permitless concealed carry law doesn't affect wetlands conservation!

It's amazing how little they care about reality and truth to keep insisting the law is named "don't say gay" even now almost 2 years after it came out. It was never about not saying gay. The fact DeSantis hasn't just gone Nuclear on Disney already is the biggest failure of his entire governorship. They are obviously not giving a shit about Florida and openly consider themselves to be above the state government so he should have already done something and declared it a insurrection. I am pretty sure the law has provisions to allow for them to just undo their little tax heaven, and the fact the Disney lawyers have been allowed to pull that retarded shit about "it is valid until all the kids of the King of England die" should have qualified as open contempt of the law.

This is the biggest proof DeSantis is a failed candidate for POTUS and hilariously under-prepared to try and fill Trump's shoes. He can't handle Disney in Florida, how does he expect to deal with the Deep State in D.C.?

That is true, but this is less to do with the Parental Rights bill and more with how Disney gleefully shot themselves into Florida politics and proceeded to try and blatantly influence it. Their Pride parade is obviously insisting they are better than Florida and attacking the government that has given them a tax break out of a deal. If this was any other company on any other state they would have already been crushed. But it's (D)ifferent this time.

The fact DeSantis moved to try and punish them, and the result was Disney just making a fool of him with the new terms they pushed and the full control of the local politics under their control is what this is about. And they are gleefully bragging and doing a victory lap over it, as they honestly earned the right to by playing the Meatball with their superior lawyer kvetching because DeSantis was foolish enough to try and attack them without having a planned offensive and be ready to actually threaten them with real world consequences thinking the lawyers and corporate people and True Believers would act in "good faith" as if they were both fighting for the same team and not Woke Ideologues in one side and basic bitch neocon reaction on the other.

The nyt, Washington post, and politico passed on this story but the DOD has examined documents and allowed this to be released

In filing his complaint, Grusch is represented by a lawyer who served as the original Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG).

“We are not talking about prosaic origins or identities,” Grusch said, referencing information he provided Congress and the current ICIG. “The material includes intact and partially intact vehicles.”

In accordance with protocols, Grusch provided the Defense Office of Prepublication and Security Review at the Department of Defense with the information he intended to disclose to us. His on-the-record statements were all “cleared for open publication” on April 4 and 6, 2023, in documents provided to us.

Time to send the national guard in.

Yep. The thing is DeSantis doesn't even have to send them INTO Disneyland or their land. All he needs to do is enforce the terms Disney is oviously pushing for: Statehood.

Disney pretty much wants to bypass all of Florida, paying no taxes and not obeying their laws but still in the US. They are pretty much claiming to be a de facto state. So DeSantis can just comply and cut them off from Florida public utilities like water, electricity, internet and roads until they formalize their statehood or they agree to behave.
