Everytime I browse this thread I'm reminded of an old tranny who used to be in one of my old groupchats (idek how the fuck they were invited) who spent 3 months hyping up his bottom surgery only to say it was a success, dipping offline for 6 whole months and discovering that his entire life had collapsed because his bf couldn't find the hole enjoyable so dumped him. The hole also caused complications at his workplace (surprise surprise, it was manual labour so he couldn't really DO anything) so lost that too.

The incredibly funny thing about trannies who cut off their entire friends and family support network is that once they go offline, nobody will ever know if they're alive or not. He came out to his wife 3 days after they found out she was pregnant. The wife has sought therapy for her "internalized misogyny around thinks like breasts", but with he help of brainwashing from the therapist she is now more in line with Mx. Fizzle's transition goals.

AMAB enby here, and I probably had the worst timing on my egg cracking. I've been with my very cis-het wife for 15 years (we're both 30), and married for 5. We basically grew up as a couple. I figured out that I was non-binary 3 days after we found out she was pregnant with our daughter, and I told her that day. It was definitely a shock for her, but we had a conversation about how this didn't mean I loved her any less, and that I was still committed to being the best possible parent for our kid. She was supportive from the jump, which I can never thank her enough for.

That's not to say it hasn't been a challenge, though. She is very attracted to certain masculine parts of my appearance (e.g. facial hair), and thought she would be completely turned off by some of my ideal transition goals (e.g. breast growth). She also had severe concerns for my safety as I transitioned. Through a set of conversations we agreed on a transition philosophy of taking things in small steps and going for a reversible/cosmetic option (makeup, breast forms) before anything permanent.

We also have to deal with the fact that I can't be out to her side of the family, who we rely on heavily for childcare and financial support. I have to mask anytime we're over there.

My wife has been going through therapy with a queer -affirming therapist who's helped her deal with some internalized misogyny around thinks like breasts, and so she's become more open to some of my physical transition goals. She's also sought out opportunities to interact with other queer couples for community support. I'm lucky the Unitarian Universalist church I grew up in is very LGBT friendly, so we've started attending again with our daughter and are looking the fact that queer parents are in the majority there.

I'll see if I can get my wife to comment here on her perspective as well. we're both still navigating this, but I feel that being out and who I am has let me be both a better partner and parent.

I had a friend who's ex stole her name. We were catching up after a huge gap in seeing eachother, and I brought up how enby stuff was a dangerous path and I was concerned for her. I mentioned how troons do this name stuff specifically, and she exploded. Her ex had taken her name and refused to change it. I had only guessed, but I guessed right, and it made her think.

I think the narcissism has something to do with it as well. It's a common phenomenon for narcissists to become enraged with jealousy whenever their partner accomplishes something or is being celebrated/focused on. Most troons have narcissistic personality traits, and I think this is definitely one of them. It's no coincidence that when the wife gets pregnant, aka the most female thing you can possibly do, the husband suddenly troons out and starts skinwalking her. It immediately makes them the center of attention, forever, and now their inferior cis wife must go to cult brainwashing therapy to overcome her inner misogyny bc her troonwife is such a better woman than her.
