Disney's been spending so much "Fuck you" money for a long while now. Remember John Carter and The Lone Ranger reboot from 10 years ago? Lmao.
Whoaoaoaoh, didn't the guy who played the Lone Ranger get fuckin' busted for rape? And the pussiest form of rape, like slippin' a roofie?

IIRC, the cocksucker descends from a looooooooooong line of degenerate cocksuckers who happen to be political 'progressives'.

Not surprised they are trying to sell assets now for way over value. Comcast are pretty prudent with spending lately because money is tight everywhere. Disney are essentially trying to create contra entries because they know that Hulu is probably a 25 billion cost. Like holy fuck they did not even need to buy Fox because it put them so far in the hole. Iger is actually insane and spends money like a madman because he thinks Disney has fuck you money.

They cannot go with giving comcast shares because they could end up giving them up to 6 seats currently. it would also mean comcast are the biggest holder in the company. Essentially your enemy now has the company because with 6 board seats they have enormous power.

There also might be anti-trust issues, even with Democrats in power in the US, if Comcast was proposed to own a significant share of Disney.

Tinfoail hat time, it's starting to look like Comcast never truly stopped their 2004 takeover but decided to play the long game by occasionally undermining Disney ( fucking with the fox deal, trying to steal market share in orlando, hulu buyout etc.) to get the stock low enough for another bid.

Anti Trust is still taken seriously and yes you're right in theory it would. Remember the parks are still operating on covid protocols because it allows them to fudge the numbers to investors but with Universal operating at record capacity over memorial weekend. The biggest earners for Disney are the US parks but Florida is a nightmare currently. With DeSantis breathing down their backs along with Universal demolishing them currently.

I think after Marvels results along with the merging of Pixar and Studios we will have a no confidence vote. Most of this is Iger's fault too, the fox deal, the park changes with fucking challenging DeSantis. The Little Mermaid could net about a 100 - 150 million cost which sounds peanuts but it's all a cascading effect. They have Snow White next year which is looking really scuffed.lol Chris Chan

Inside Out 2 is going to be awful I can feel it and Wish just looks unremarkable which is a shame the music sounds promising but it looks like it was on a ps2 graphics.

Surprised no one has mentioned it yet: Disneyland Splash Mountain closed tuesday.
Well, now both Splash Mountains in America are gone...now the only Splash Mountain that is left is in Japan. Although, now that I think about it Japan's Disneyland unlike the Disney theme parks in America, are doing fine, heck I am pretty sure EuroDisney is fine too as well ( for the record I am not including the Disney China Theme parks, because Disney has some connections with China). I mean they haven't had any woke stuff in the parks unlike her in the states. Heck out of all the L's Disney taking for at least almost everthing, the theme parks in Japan and Europe have no L's at all. And considering the fact, that some of Europe is woke, that takes big balls to not have EuroDisney no L's. Heck, in the future only Japan's Disney theme parks and EuroDisney may exist, while the rest of Disney may be gone all because they went woke. You know just saying.

Disney doesn't actually own the parks in Japan, they are owned purely by its Japanese partners, Disney has 0% ownership. Oriental Land Company (OLC) owns and operates them and pays royalty and licensing fees to Walt Disney.

On another note, Disney will be entering the world of trading card games in September/general fall time with 'Lorcana'.

I remember someone saying about the ownership of Japan and why the park is so clean. That is terrible though, remember they end up taking a lot of the Japan ride ideas like Tron. I know personally a lot of the imagineers from Disney Florida went to Universal because the pay and conditions. Around the time Wizarding World was getting built Universal managed to poach a load of them. Disney is trying to hire back their lead imagineers that left due to Iger but they have stated they will never return if Iger is there.

It's kind of a perfect storm of shit. p.s. they are LATE AS FUCK with the trading card game stuff as Card games in all fields are down.

How long can Disney go making these box office failures and poor decisions before they go under? Are they really too big to fail?

There is no such thing as "too big to fail", Disney is vulnerable to becoming irrelevant and bankrupt as any other company that has been poorly managed. I'll even say that because they are an entertainment company their risk of failure is higher because what they produce is not essential nor irreplaceable. There is not going to be a government bail out if Disney tanks to the point it cannot continue operating.

Disney is never going to collapse, they'll just become an ever increasing laughingstock as time goes on as their products become ever more low effort and crap.

“We want to reflect the world as it exists,” Mr. Bailey said.
That is literally the exact opposite of what Disney movies are supposed to do, you fuckhead.
“Alan Menken just told me that he thinks this one is better than the animated film,” Robert A. Iger, Disney’s chief executive, said at the film’s premiere last month, referring to the Oscar-winning composer.

Dementia. No question about it.
“I think what he is doing is vastly important,” said Geena Davis, an actress and gender equity activist. “It’s not just about inspiring little girls. It’s about normalizing for men and boys, making it perfectly normal to see a girl doing interesting and important things and taking up space.”
I swear to god, I finna have a fucking anuerysm. THAT IS LITERALLY EXACTLY WHAT THE ORIGINAL RENAISSANCE MOVIES DID, YOU BITCH.

Sean, fuck you, fuck everything you stand for, fuck your career,

fuck your balding ass toupee, and I hope your wife gets "diversified" every day by those BBCs you seem to love so much.

Well I'll believe it is happening when production is like 90% complete. I mean look at all the Marvel and Star Wars shit that has been announced and shitcanned in the past couple years. Disney is pretty close to being able to make only 3-4 movies a year with tight oversight, and I highly doubt Lion King sequel shit will be in that list.

Also like the part about PotC re-boot soon to be announced. Nigger that was announced and then dumped like all the other shit. Although I wouldn't mind seeing it announced and canceled again.

Remember when ToysRUs filed for bankrupcy and closed its last stores with an announcement on social media, and then a ton of manchildren started crying and taking donations and eventually the company was revived?
I can see that happening with Disney on a much larger scale, the company dying tons of autists and manchildren crying and trying to set up gofundmes to revive it and eventually some other company will "revive" Disney.

Geena Davis has gotta be getting up there. It'd be quicker to count how many actresses have NOT become Feminazis as they age in a pathetic attempt to remain relevant.

Also, I hate how Third Wave Feminism can be basically boiled down to "All of the masculine shit that men used to do must now be done only by females.. All of the feminine shit that women used to do was worthless, degrading slavery that no one should do." If that isn't itself a horrible attack on women, I don't know what is.

As large as the Disney coffers are, these are not as brimming with cash as these were even a decade ago. What Disney is doing right now is unsustainable, They are losing money with their live-action adaptations, their original animated movies and sequels of franchises they acquired from Lucasfilms. Worse of all and this is the part that Disney leadership is underestimating is the damage they are doing to all the brands and IPs they own may be permanent. They already are an laughing stock, the live action versions of "Pinocchio" and "The Little Mermaid" are some of the most low effort trash they have ever done, they are producing anti-entertainment at this point. People are getting really tired of seeing their entertainment being turned into agitprop and there will be a point were Disney is going to have their own version of a Bud Light/Dylan Mulvaney where a lot of people en mass are simply going to swear off anything related with the brand and no matter what the company does to course-correct-after-the-fact is not going to bring those people back.

If anything the "Disney" worth saving is the one from the past, the one were it was the creatives with a storytelling vision that directed the output of the company, "that" Disney is gone. Now it is just a bunch of corpos and accountant like every big name American entertainment company nowadays. Any person with creative passion that was part of Disney already left or died years ago.

If the company keeps fucking up to the point it cannot financially operate then it is going to be other multinational corporations the ones that are going step in an gobble up Disney piecemeal, grabbing and splitting the IPs and assets to then milk them for all they are worth.
