It was for telling the truth about terra jones, that fnord autist PM'd me saying he was reporting me for "slander" and I replied that it would technically be libel, but it's neither because everything I said was true.

That happened to me too. I made a post explaining that the Farms didn't mean any harm and that not all of us hate people on the spectrum. I get two nice comments, log on just one day later, and I'm banned.
The worst part is the banned page has a link to contact the Board Administrator, and whenever I click it, nothing happens. I'm going to email one of the people there, and I'll edit this post later with screencaps.

How many weens/shitposters/stubborn idiots with stupid or offensive beliefs they won't shut up about do we get here? And we give them patience and try to deal with them the hard way, we give them every chance to shape up before booting them.
But over at the hugbox, they'll ban you after a single post if it's even semi-obvious that you are a danger to the echo chamber because you aren't going to fall into lockstep with the party line.

And estimated 10% of the people on WP are actually officially diagnosed and probably actually autistic. The rest are people who have borderline, factitious disorder or schizotypal disorder and yet assume it is autism because they think it is "trendy". Most factitious disorder though.

I had a brief stint as a tutor for a group of autistic kids, and it was an eye opener into why Wrong Planet is a bad idea.
Most of the kids had various social problems but were quite brilliant. One I knew read textbooks for fun because they were the type who enjoyed the sheer act of reading, but they otherwise weren't very conversational unless you discussed what he was learning.
I found out the kid found it easier to learn by studying than by doing things as they came along, so I convinced him to listen to others socializing while he was reading (since he was pretty good at multitasking) to figure out how to pick up social cues, and to my joy it worked.
Kid still wasn't very chatty, but if someone struck up a brief conversation he wouldn't clam up half as much, could even start making light conversation after awhile.
The experience taught me autistic children need to be taught how to adapt to if not master human societal norms so they can at least tread water in interacting with others, and that merely leaving them alone to focus on their autismal obsessions doesn't help because they don't learn what is and isn't acceptable to the neurotypicals they must interact with sooner or later.
WP is like a hugbox for avoiding that, and I'm not surprised a lot of it's members get odd and often disgusted looks by most of the human race.

It's because if we don't coddle them it's meltdowns and "muh oppression" and " muh sensitive autistic feelings" and "yes I am a genius but I am incapable of learning basic social graces" for weeks. It's a big part of the reason why I don't post there any more.
Edit: lol this isn't powerlevelling; it's pretty common knowledge here that I came over from WP. The whole reason I joined in the first place is because of a thread Connor made about this site being mean to him.
