i was watching a documentary based in africa and noticed that even though the guys actually had jobs and wives and were nothing like american blacks all of the women were grade A fugly

if they’re not fat they have crazy wide, broad noses or weird smooshed in faces and truckasaurus hands. if they have natural hair at all they don’t take care of it so their giant fiveheads are prominently displayed. if they try to style their hair they put in natty knots that stick out in random directions. even the black disney princess Tiana has far-apart alien looking eyes reminiscent of the new little mermaid movie

is there a country or city or even a single village that has attractive black women?

In general, though, what attractive Black women have in common is a large enough portion of White blood that they have mostly White facial features with subtle enough African facial features to look exotic but not Stone Age. A lot of Blacks that are mixed have somewhat slanted eyes like Asians, they have large lips (full lips), so there are features that are something to work with, it's just that in their native land they are taken to the absolute extreme.

I also don't like kinky hair, and Black people by and large have naturally kinky hair. If one has straight hair they almost surely artificially straighten it, which (regardless of what anyone says) is done to look more White.

East Africans are basically a different race from "Blacks" (West Africans), they're extremely dark but have much more European facial features. The downside is that they're tall and gangly.

Well, for starters, less of them wear makeup, and more of them work outside, which can make skin leathery and cause muscular, rough, calloused hands You're also less used to seeing people that look that way, which can bias you to see them as ugly, since they look strange and unfamiliar, and what we perceive as beautiful has a cultural component as well as an innate one. They might very well find a white person ugly and strange looking for our longer, more pointed noses and straight-haired women, because that's not the norm in their area.

If they're not fat, many of them can look pretty decent to even quite beautiful. This may depend on where you live and where you encounter them. I'm currently in a welfare state that subsidizes fat sows pushing out 10 kids by as many fathers and work for a non-profit that distributes many state resources to them. Since I'm not on the customer-facing end, the ones I meet are often the more attractive professionals. It's also cold most of the year, and most of the manufacturing and mining jobs are gone, so not many of the muscular leathery ones as the above describes.
I've seen attractive ones in the US south, and even a few in Africa. Keep in mind, even sub-Saharan Africans have distinct sub-races and the west Africans (ones Americans may be more familiar with because they were our greatest source of slaves) are way different from Ethiopians and southern Africans. Though personal taste factors in quite a bit, social class and education do impact attractiveness.

Of course they do. You personally may never find a Black girl attractive, I don't know you - perhaps that's just not your thing. But most would agree on the attractiveness of a lot of Black women. Ethiopian women and East Africans in general are often pretty hot, imo.

One thing that can put a lot of guys off is that Sub-Saharan African women can be rather... statuesque. A lot of White Western guys don't really know what to do with a woman who is 6'1" and broad across the shoulders. She'll be built in proportion with hips and breasts and whatnot, but a lot of guys just like women who are a little shorter than they are, more petite. And that's less often an African woman. They're often kind of masculine looking to Western guys at least in terms of height and physical strength. Doesn't mean that's incompatible with physical attractiveness, just that for some guys that's a negative. Plenty of petite Black women as well, though.

Psychologically, most men go for women who have similar physical traits to their mother. One or two small differences like blonde vs. brunette wont put off a guy - lets face it, the male sex drive is pretty easy to persuade sometimes, but if someone is an entirely different ethnicity that may be a factor for some. I'd say the largest factor is just an intimdation one. Black women especially from a US background or African countries will tend to be louder and more extroverted than a lot of Western men are comfortable with. But that's not really a physical attractiveness thing so much as different cultures. And it doesn't apply to same culture like a British Black woman is not the same as an American Black woman (though attitudes have spread).

But on the whole, I'd say you (OP) are just blind. I certainly wouldn't kick Jasmine Tookes out of bed on a cold night.

@Overly Serious Statuesque is a good way to put it, and forms a good contrast with Asians (who men of all races tend to fetishize). Orientals tend to be cute and pretty in a generic and inoffensive way. Blacks, when they are pretty, tend to be something more like what you'd call majestic. And I have seen White women who I would describe that way, although what made them so in my mind was their bearing as much as physical features.

If a person considers women's attractiveness as being a Bell curve, which I think the statisticians for dating apps argue it is, and normalize Whites, I think Asians could be argued as having a higher mean and a tighter variation (so they have less real beauties but are on average more attractive) and Blacks have a lower mean and a greater variation. And the latter is as much a matter of Blacks having an incredible amount of genetic diversity.

the women in those pictures are quite pretty, but comparing them to the images i was looking up (mostly western african women) their skin is extremely light and that goes back to what @Ughubughughughughughghlug said -- their attractiveness seems to be from having enough not-black DNA that they look like exotic versions of another race and not solidly black. that leads to an argument of "no true blacksman" though...

My uncle met Iman and said she was extremely beautiful in real life. She is Somalian. Different parts of Africa contain different ethnicities. So there's a lot of variation from country to country. The Maasai of Kenya and Tanzania also tend to have features that are appealing to Westerners. Not all of Sub-Saharan Africa is the same glob of people. There's a ton of variation. And there's some past mixing from the das of colonialism too.

But beauty standards will vary across the globe. So what is unattractive to us may be very attractive to others. If many of your people have certain features such a a broad nose, large lips ect... then that's what you grow up seeing as attractive. And if you have little influence from outside of your region then you will not interact with or be exposed to other races and ethnicities. If your mother looked like Sarah Baartman then that's probably what you will find beautiful.
