Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Ukrainian POV: Khokhols blindly firing into the tree line and into their own fucking Bradleys driving past in a panic during their counter-offensyiiv.

Saddam's tank battalions were significantly more competent than this. I'm genuinely a little shocked at how undisciplined, untrained, and disorganized they are. It seems like all their veteran soldiers died or deserted in Bakhmut.

Oh wow, who could have known that Ukraine would Operation Citadel this badly. You'd think the Germans would have a manual titled "Lessons Learned from WW2", but knowing Ukrainians they'd sell it off for a crate of vodka and pretend they got it all figured out.

It's 1944 France all over again. German tanks can't even drive to the fighting without getting fucked.

Here's what I don't understand - those Bradley's should be equipped with FLIR, so they should be able (in theory) to see if there are troops or vehicles hiding out in that treeline, so there should be no need to blindfire into them. At least they did do the smart thing and fire smoke/flares before taking on those troops to withdraw, blinding the elctro-optics of any ATGM's or attack helos that might try to fire on them as they pulled back.

One interesting thing I noticed in that video - one of those troops looked like they were carrying an M16 with the M203 grenade launcher. That's definitely not standard issue and pretty unusual for a country that should have access to an untold number of Soviet-era AK-47s/74s. I wonder if this means Ukraine is now not only needing to rely on the US and its allies for vehicles and artillery, but also for basic small arms as well.

WTF even was that? They were retreating and the POV vehicle was providing cover fire? Until it, y'know fragged one of its own? Point blank. Wow. I'm assuming I'm missing something here, but that's what it looks like.

To add: I really wish the shitty music wasn't on all these videos. It not only adds no value, it detracts from the experience. I can live with the watermarks, though do they have to be so huge?

edit: How do these videos get released? I can't imagine the Ukes would do anything but bury something like this as deep as they possibly could.

Rewatching it, I'm not 100% sure if they hit their own Bradley or not - it looks like there's a big explosion that takes out the vehicle before it crosses the firing path of the Bradley taking the video, though it is pretty close so it's hard to tell.

Germany had regular spurts of air superiority. The Messerschmitt 109s were in constant production and competitive with every allied fighter, and the jet powered 262s came towards the end of the war that were capable of outrunning a diving mustang. Germany was regularly being bombed by the time jet fighters were being produced, and had they been allowed to be built in massive numbers, they would have been able to retake their airspace and significantly delay the fall of Berlin.

Ukraine hasn't had control of their airspace for months. There's also a lot of evidence suggesting their early detection capabilities are significantly diminished. Even if you gave them 1 or 2 squadrons of F-16s, they'd be so outnumbered by experienced pilots in comparable aircraft that none of them would see 500 flight hours before being crashed or shot down.

Without the ability to protect them with air support, tanks are fucked. Russia can watch their formations and movements in real time. When comparing cost vs. the amount of damage done with these weapon systems, Russia is absolutely annihilating the west. Most people just factor in the sticker price of a tank when it's destroyed, but when you consider that it never even engaged the enemy before being taken out, the value of the tank becomes negative. You're spending hundreds of millions and dozens of lives in return for Russia having 1 less shell/drone. This is less like Germany v France and more like Operation Desert Storm, and Russia is the US.

I feel like this question may be important. We're seeing very little of stuff like this from the Russians.

Are the Holhols fully demoralized to the point that they deliberately stream to the internet what might be their last moments, just so their loved ones know how they died?

Even from the beginning of the war, the Russians have consistently had much tighter opsec than the Ukrainians, with very few combat videos release versus the Ukrainians. This just seems to be a continuation of that.
If the rumors about that decapitation strike killing a bunch of Ukrainian leadership were true then the Ukraine is probably finished at this point. Once the chain of command is broken historically no army ever recovers.
You conceivably can if your population is large enough and outnumbers the opposing nation - which Ukraine doesn't.

Well, Bradley is almost as heavy as T-34, no wonder it's better at keeping the crew alive than 14-ton BMPs.

To make Citadel even possible, Wehrmacht had to withdraw panzer groups from other parts of the front, thus exposing their flanks. Tactically, Germans were winning (high "k/d"+good tempo), but once Soviets had launched counter-offensives near Orel and Belgorod, the Citadel was doomed.
The question is, are Ukrainians really spread thin and is Russian Army capable of attacking and defending simultaneously?

No he's right, when command and control over your units is broken its over.

I remember long ago, before any of this shit happened with the Invasion / SMO that I saw one of his video's recommended to me, just from looking at the thumbnail I could tell that this guy would be obnoxious, decisive and thinking anyone who thought on the contrary to him was a dumb hater so I took a hard pass. BOOOYYY did that assessment age like a fine wine.

I can't wait for when (or if) the day comes when Russia finally stands triumphant and I get to see the full copium, anger fuelled video that this guy puts out, that will be a video I'd actually watch from this sorry arse of a military-expert-wannabe cunt just for the satisfaction of hearing all the excuses or vatnik hatred.

Also, how does this guy not have a lolcow thread yet? He's totally deserving of one if you ask me so we can all revel in the cringe his dumb mouth spews.

I feel like Lazer Pig should have learned to shut up after red effect made a nearly hour long video disproving every lie he had in his T-14 video (a video that was only 10 minutes longer than Red effects debunking of it) I also hate his use of the word "we", who the fuck is "we"?

Now as for the actual body of his tweet, yeah anyone with a brain knew we were going to see these western tanks burn, i thought the same shit when these fags creamed their pants watching T-90s blow up, you lose tanks in war.

It looks like a gopro that was knocked off at the end. This could have been picked up from a Ru scout after the hohol's left or got smoked.
