He is playing Manon tonight.
Get ready for massive amount of Drive Impact salt. Manon has long reaching normals, but they are on the slower side and thus, susceptible to Drive Impact.
He already had trouble whenever he was pushed into a corner with other characters, with Manon it will be a nightmare for him since she doesn't have a solid reversal apart from her level 1 super (which also isn't the best).
Also remember him having trouble anti-airing with Zangief? You have to act similar with Manon as you have to counter jump ins with Rond Kick early to get the most out of jump ins.

What a repulsively detailed way to say fuck you to someone. I thought the scat fetish thing was just a meme. What I find funny is I think phil actually made a smart choice by just jumping into online play and fucking around. Credit where credit is due, he actually approced a hot new release in the correct way. But it took him 2 streams to revert to making butt fucking stupid choices and went back to just playing training mode for 3 hours every stream but forgets 90% of the shit he practiced by his second loss.

I was going to upload some videos from today's pre-stream, but it's not worth it with the site being in it's current condition. Uploading a 1 minute 480p video takes fucking forever, and half the time the upload fails. The video player on this site barely works even when the site is fully functional anyway, so...

Anyway, today's stream is one of the worst (best) DSPGaming streams I've seen in a while. Just a quick back-track, last night during Zelda, Phil couldn't find where the cooking pot was in the Goron city. He put the controller down, and just sat in place, scanning his chat and demanding that they tell him where to find the cooking pot.

Today on the pre-stream, Phil said that the reason he couldn't find the cooking pot, is because he's playing too many games right now, and his brain just cant handle the retention of basic information from all the games he's playing.

He had several massive extremely salty copes over people posting clips of his Zelda gameplay on TikTok. These clips are taken out of context, he says, and are not indicative of his regular gameplay. People just want to cause drama in his streams, and Phil didn't even know people posted him on TikTok, he only found out because people kept coming into his stream chat to tell him about it. Luckily, Phil doesn't care. He literally doesn't dude. People just want to drag him down to their level with their "get good mentality" regarding video games. Video games aren't supposed to be an E-dick contest, it's about having fun, and that's what Phil is all about, chill positive fun.

Despite this, he can't help but circle back to getting hit by the lightning in Zelda. It's a terrible mechanic that adds nothing to the game, and Nintendo is fucking stupid for even putting it in the game. Everyone is too pussy to call Nintendo on their shit, except for Phil. He will be the one to stand up to those out-of-touch video game dictators at Nintendo. Also, Zelda shouldn't be a 100 hour game, because the old Zelda games weren't 100 hours long. The game being this long only means that Nintendo doesn't respect your time, and they are incredibly self-important. It's an ego thing, it's obviously not that they want players to get their money's worth.

He gets baited into another SideScrollers rant by a superchat asking if he could beat them in Street Fighter. The SideScrollers only bring up toxic shit about about Phil and his community, people are begging him to just drop it, and Phil does not care about drama, he seriously doesn't, but he still feels the need to analyze the possible benefits of fighting Stuttering Craig in Street Fighter, but the benefits would only benefit them, as the SideScrollers only ride Phil's coattails and milk all of the money out of Phil's detractors who, if you remember from yesterday, are really Phil's biggest fans.

He eventually wraps up the podcast with another rant about Nintendo, something about Pokemon, idk. Then he proceeded to have one of the saltiest, most pathetic Street Fighter 6 sessions yet, where he plays as Manon and gets his shit pushed in for 3 hours, crying about Drive Impact and whining the entire time. He eventually admitted that he is unable to block moves on reaction, and cannot perform basic game mechanics from mid-range, I suppose this means he relies on gimmicks. Oh and this is Phil's only stream for today, he has to record Slayer's KPop reaction video tonight, so please, support the stream.

like, yeah. that's what lightning does. it's drawn to specific shit, that's why lightning rods work. the fact he says "homes in on you" makes it seem like he thinks if lightning strikes, and you're running max speed, you shouldn't get hit.

he doesn't seem to know lightning is...you know...light. it's one of the fastest things in existence, if lightning strikes, you've already been hit if that's how the dice roll. there's no outrunning it.

Thats different, TOTK is a hot new release and the biggest game of 2023 while fallout/elderscrolls are 14 year old games everyone has seen a million times. Obviously the people are going to demand (behind da scenes) a 14th play though of fallout scrolls where phil does the exact same thing he did the last run. Its just good business!

Its painfully obvious he doesn't really like/never played games outside of arcade fighters. BotW is 50 hours to beat and TotK is 55 hours to beat. Most 3d Zeldas are 25-40 hours so its not even a big increase compared to Zelda style rpgs. If you actually compare it to rpg style rpgs... Dragon Quest, Persona, Xeno all clock in at the 60 hour range and those arent exactly deep cuts.

Phil really needs to start dilating, normally you don't recommend that, for a pre-op transexual, but he's going to overdose on seething and coping soon so he might as well add the third one in.

Plus the only real way to prove stupid kid nudniks on tik-tok wrong is to do these Zelda challenges in real life, so next thunderstorm he should record a youtube short loaded to the hilt with metal shit on the nearest hill top that his "daily walks" most certainly walk him past because Phil wouldn't lie about being a fat fuck who is in terrible physical health with a rotted gin brain in the oddly shaped skull of his that his wife won't ever touch sexually in bed, even an onlycucksock knows that. Then, when he isn't hit by lightening which zooms in on him like a living entity, he'll be able to put those detractors online in their place finally, for once in his gouty life.

(Also, the "Nintendo Seal of Approval" that Phil legacy humps, it was literally a seal that meant the game would work with the system, so low iq's, like the Burnell family members, didn't buy SEGA carts to not work with their NES systems and then reee to the company why Sonic won't fit in the machine. Of course, for Phil, this is the mark of an old school "polished game." Nope, never was but as usual marketing fools the stupid pigroach when it's time to cope decades later.)

They're too long, they're bloated, they have reused assets, they don't respect the player's time, yada yada. They start off strong but the audience gets bored because Phil plays at a snail's pace and all the other streamers beat them and moved on or started doing new challenge runs or whatever weeks ago.

I think this is why he loves Bethesda games so much. They're all super long but filled with completely optional content and a clearly marked main quest to beat the game. So when the tips slow down after five months of meandering he can just say "Oh you guys want me to finish this," go to beeline the main quest and beat it in a couple sessions. The problem he's having with Zelda right now is that despite it having the clearly marked main quest, the game expects you to want to explore and find stuff and fight enemies. Phil barely explores and has stupidly convinced himself that fighting enemies is a waste of time because they don't give you experience points, so now he has no monster materials he needs to upgrade his armor or fuse to make decent weapons. This is going to give him issues as he moves into the endgame. But don't worry, it will all be stupid Nintendo's fault, not his for playing the game wrong.
