Jokes aside you are correct. The thing that scares every authoritarian ever is losing control, and stand alone complexes are the absolute peak of that fear realized to them. I think this is why you see glowies and mainstream propaganda insist everything is a "right wing movement" and Qanon or some shit, part of it is projection of their fears and worry of it becoming a generalized epidemic of dissent without a control center they can attack.

Uncle Ted spoke about this some. The Industrial Society requires that people not only socialize but oversocialize as a way to keep itself working and the cogs of the machine close enough for their teeth to make contact and spin the mechanisms.

If people start to independently rise up against such a system the powers that be start to lose control fast and hard. They cannot try and shut this down beacause they can't really apply pressure on individuals that effectively alone, they need the help of the other cogs in the machine to do it. But the harder they try and keep control the more they risk driving people who were only a little pissed into being fully pissed off and rising up themselves. The harder they squeeze to try and keep control the more the serpent wiggles and fights back.

The fun part is our grandparents knew the solution to this shit A LONG FUCKING TIME AGO.

Make the economy not be a noose on our neck, make real estate cheap, make college education actually worth something, and make sure the "job listings" they keep touting are real and not the same fifteen jobs from 12 years ago. And eventually, people will start fucking and having kids again.

And yes governments are well aware of the threat here-lonely sexually frustrated and alienated men could very well string them all up, so incredible volumes of resources are devoted to their suppression and demoralization.

Any government program that "addresses loneliness" will be firstly a female and minority gibs program, secondly a suppression program that targets young men.

Can they actually rig 2024 as badly as they did 2020? I know it's optimistic to think they can't, but I wonder if they expended as much political capital and trust in the system that they are aware rigging as hard as they did will be a bad idea.

I'm probably wrong though and they will rig it regardless. Everyone in power is so fucking retarded they think they can do literally anything at this point and face no consequences however minor.
