Ukrainian Defensive War against the Russian Invasion - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Wtf is the Russian Air Force doing? The only way they aren't getting mogged right now is if the pilots are refusing orders
Confusion and fear. People ordering the air strike are too busy and distracted with figuring if they are going to be purged or not, or if they should themselves be purging someone right now to actually care that much how well their orders get carried out.
These generals or even colonels and such were never proud military leaders with a deep sense of duty, but career politicians. All they know is that Putin and all their peers are busy panicking and doing whatever, and so are they.

End result is that the base gets some vague orders to do something about Wagner, officers at the base hear rumors about Wagner shooting something down/they can't find them/have some problem which would require initiative to solve, and as the HQ seems to be busy and stopped calling, they figured it's better to just sit around and read telegram for news until someone tells you otherwise.
In Russian military if you aren't sure what to do, you do nothing. It's very top-down type of military, and if the "top" is busy with their own politics, very little gets done.

I don't think we'll know where Putler is anytime soon, but if there's reports of him fleeing from an angry cook, that's not a good look. It contrasts poorly with the jewish nazi crossdresser that is his great rival too.

Speculation of Gerasimov and even Shoigu having been in Rostov too, which would give another reason why Prigozhin made his beeline for it. Speculation as in, they were in the area of the southern front recently, and it would make sense for them to end up in Rostov since it's the heart of command in the south. So Putin might not have been the only one fleeing for his life.

That'll do wonders to morale of defenders of Moscow.

What defenders?

Ah I see the confusion. My link is Ukrainska Pravda, a Ukrainian news site unrelated to the Russian propaganda outlet, aside from the similar name.
My bad then. I just assume anything Pravda is Soviet propaganda.

You guys have the gift of making a dramatic flashpoint in a live-fire war sound like IP2 drama.

I'm not comfortable with the idea of Putin cornered, if that's where this is going. If he loses popular support and sees no graceful exit...
I've tl;dr'd this before but you seem new so I'll tl;dr it again for you & the new folks:
Calm the fuck down about nukes.
The Russian nuke force is a continuation of the Soviet nuke force - is its own branch of the military, reporting to its own independent chain of command - no hazing, no butt-rape, no being turned out as a gay prostitute. The reason is you need intelligence, self-direction, and a calm steady mind - things that are independent of (and sometimes contraindicated by) the ability to recite Marx. The only main things they look for are intelligence and loyalty to mother russia. Not to the party chairman, not to the president, to Russia. That includes preferring to not see Russia turned into a radioactive moonscape if possible.
So the nuke force, unlike other branches, is not captive or captured by Putin. And if Putin gives an order to start WWIII because a food service worker is dabbing on him, they will tell him to fuck straight off.

Interesting to consider. Even if Wagner is defeated outside Moscow, Russia may have indefinitely lost much of their African resources.

bwahahaha 100kms to Moscow already
Where's my Battle for the Gates of Moscow, Prigo? Get it done my man!

I can't wait for the Zs to start supporting Prigozhin if Putin flees and the situation is in shambles. I have never seen a group more prone to sucking up to muh strongmen

Is it 4 days to Moscow now? Too bad there aren't any ukrainans stopping them there.

I can't but laugh at this shitshow and Z patriots denouncing what once they praised

I might write a song about this "4 days to Moscow" soon

Wagner is in Moscow oblast, smashed through the first road barriers
Visegrad24 is heavy propaganda, don't put much weight into what they say. That video is from south of Voronezh. Wagner is likely still in the southern part of Tula oblast.

This is hilarious, but quick reality check:
We don't know Putin is on the jet, it might have been sent to transport someone from St. Petersburg to Moscow.

The year is 2023.
Russia is nearly a year and a half into its invasion of Ukraine. Russian forces started the war with T-72s and now are in T-62s and T-55s. The capital ship of the Black Sea Fleet lies at the bottom of said sea.
In the middle of the war, with most combat-ready units tied up in combat in Ukraine, a Russian-alligned mercenary group lead by an Ex-con who's previous experience was in food service and had taken the only town since the opening days of the war has taken an armored column into Russia. In response, the strongman leader of Russia has fled moscow. Provinces in open revolt, harboring revolutionaries. Troops openingly mutinying to join them. The airforce, after initial helicopter and fixed wing losses, refuses orders to attack.
Defenses are being dug 100KM from Moscow. Chechnyans are racing to defend the capital of the Russian Federation.

Tom Clancy's ghost sitting there, watching this shit unfold, finding it completely unbelievable. If he'd written this shit, he'd be torn apart for writing something so unrealistic.

It's three two days to Moscow :story:

They're ~2 hours from the city now, claims that they are still far away are pure cope

According to Prigozhin, Gerasimov fled from Rostov HQ & has returned to Moscow.

Along with meeting a sledgehammer, Gerasimov probably doesn't want to get stuck in any fighting between Wagner & the Kadyrovites either.

What interests me is that Putin didn't order his leadership to stick around, but I suppose Moscow is a bit more important than Rostov.

Crazy stuff on local Romanian news, people filming Russian crews digging holes in roads to stop the advance, gun nests placed in Moscow, road filters, Chechen forces making moves towards Wagner, missile strikes on advancing convoys, downed helicopters, exploding fuel tanks and more. A bit too optimistic to bother collecting all that, we'll see a bit later.
Still, war has come come ladies. You wanted the downfall and destruction of another country, should've remained home and have a cozy life, promote anti-faggotry and mock the West for being too gay, but noooooooo, you had to go all in with the tanks.
