I don't think this has anything to do with the protective order. It seems like the original uploader Aware Of Myself was picketing his house with a dozen other people, Chance got very mad and came out with a bat trying to attack them. Since they were on public property and he tried to batter them with a blunt weapon, it failed to fall under some castle doctrine so he's been arrested, likely charged with assault and battery. We'll see what the bail looks and the body cameras look like in a bit.

What exactly would Chance be charged with? I'm not familiar with US law but I'm guessing if he's swinging at people with a bat that'd be assault. And if he's violated a protection order, he'd be charged with violating a protection order.

He'd be charged with both. Both would be misdemeanors.

He'd be charged with Attempted Aggrevated Assault, which is not a misdemeanor, it's a felony and you're looking at a couple of years mostly because there wasn't any grevious bodily harm. Usually getting maximum of 10-15 for that, you're doing a bid basically...but for Chance it would probably be a little less than a year or two. Violating a PO is a little under 5-6 months or some fines Rax can't afford.
