This one is different. It's going to mark the end or at least a massive downgrade to the US and NATO's dominance of global affairs. Western economic sanctions are now meaningless. Western military weapons and warfare tactics have been shamed too. Possibly the true beginning of the end for the petro-dollar and USD as the world's reserve currency. Oh... I don't know about that. I would like the US to ratchet its presence back on all fronts.

But plans and expectations have a way of leaving you with a bad taste. I just don't think we're there yet no matter how much people wish we were.
