The main thing I noticed so far (and probably literally everyone else) is that the Nahel riots are real riots unlike the french protests who at worst burned some trash cans using a control fire and some flipped benches. And the French authorities seem to not know how to deal with an actual riot when they would normally be out in full force to cradle the malcontents. Im pretty sure all what they're going to do is use the cop as a scapegoat like they did with Derek Chauvin and just wait for the riots to end.

When did they say this? Im just getting my barring on the situation. Wouldn't that be amazing for the police to not go along with the government wants for once. For fucking once, I would like to see the police realize that the government will throw them under the bus whenever the darkies get uppity that one of their own gets justifiably clapped. Imagine the French police became protesters themselves and refuse to hand over the cop that shot Nahel and demanded a fair trail otherwise, they won't help stop the rioting.

The local news is saying that armored vehicles and thousands of police are on the streets and that the politicians say that this will not be tolerated.
I already bit too hard on a failed happening, but I have to keep optimistic. I just want a nice weekend where something exciting is going on (someplace else, of course, where I live MUST stay stable and quiet!)
