Kenya and Rwanda are two rare success stories and do show that there's hope for the future if the usual pitfalls African states experience (tribalism, rampant corruption etc) can be avoided. Seychelles is beautiful, but it's main income I think is tourism, (and fairly rich tourists at that) it's not really big enough to face the problems most African countries face.
There are countries that show some hope for the future, even Nigeria and Uganda (after Amin) are improving, the problem is the Ferals that are invading Europe aren't from these places, they're coming from the most violent and war torn nations on the Continent, and they're mostly the most violent and disruptive.
