I was reading a study on personality types. Which put Sub Saharan-Africans in the most aggressive personality type, and put East Asian as the most submissive personality type, while sitting "Whites" somewhere in the middle. So it looks like yes, we Humans are just like Dog breeds.

what is popular has never been more conditional on the marketing of mass communications firms & the governments that patronise them. i don't think it has always been like this, only with the advent of radio, tv and the internet has it been possible for government to reach out and touch the minds of the public in such a way.

the problem is when the message is the opposite. it's true what you say, but it's also true that 90 years ago the german population was fine with snitching on anyone whose nose was to big, same as 3 years ago when the whole world did it to anyone who had visitors or didn't wear the facediaper.

what's gonna happen is shit gets worse, which means the savage hordes will stop coming or outright leaving when the gibs dry up. government won't be able to hold control, meaning it looses the monopoly on violence. once that happens people are gonna protect themselves in any way they can, be it guns if you're lucky to have them or band together. that's gonna go on for a while with shit getting even worse, till someone gets into power (either legit or not) promising fixes, getting the majority of the population to agree, and given how shit things are people are gonna be fine with it. your "trials" are long done away with at that point because those people either fled, bunkered down with their private security (to then cooperate with the new regime), got killed off in another riot or on purpose (look up the night of the long knives) or like most opportunistic sheep found new purpose in whatever the current direction is. the rest will just go along like they always do because that's what they always did.

They more or less are doing that yes. Islam made impressive amounts of expansion as a religion from 7th to the 8th century under the Rashidun and Umayyad Caliphates after Muhammad died. More minor Islamic polities aside, the Turkic peoples and Ottomans came a long time after that.
