Is there any commentary on the reasons for these new controls? Particularly relating to export, China historically doesn’t give a shit about enforcing restrictions on exporting dangerous substances, even if it’s against the recipient’s local laws.
Also slightly surprised to learn that China has home grown trannies.
To me, it's just the Chinese playing catch-up with medical standards. A lot of these controlled medication require a valid prescription in Western countries. In many cases, buying them online from a proper source is impossible. You can place an order but you must go to the store to pick it up with a valid prescription and potentially even ID. I cannot talk for the world but at least this is the case in Australia, New Zealand, some parts of Europe and America.
In China, some prescription medication used to be easily obtained, just click a button and it's delivered to your door. There's international students smuggling this crap out to make a buck on whatever junkie Craigslist their destination uses. This is similar to purchasing wine and cigarettes at an airport, just far worse.
Another obvious reason: Abortion
Birthrates are exceptionally low across East Asia.
I love the amount of hack-assery that goes into making troonshine(TM). There are probably meth labs with more professionalism than this. Though, I don't know how much I would trust using the tap water in China, knowing the amount of pollution in some areas with micro plastics in the water. Who knows, it might be beneficial for their purposes.
飲用水 = drinking water, which are bottled and sold at stores.
STILL not trustworthy.
Why anyone would use that for bootleg troonshine is honestly beyond me. DDW isn't even that expensive. Tap water should be filtered for microplastics from people's bellybottons being circulated in and then boiled nonetheless.
That has to be fake right?
This is real.
Plastics with bisphenol-A (notorious BPA) show high estrogenic activity (EA), containing xenoestrogen. Modern, BPA-free plastics still have varying degrees of estrogenic activity (often abbreviated as EA, which is also a company known for being high in troonery). Though, it is not harmful compared to plastics that use BPA. Exposure to that will cause early puberty in girls and lowered sperm count in boys. The amount of EA is detectable with an E-Assay.

Obviously, you cannot just go around trying to extract the xenoestrogen from old-stock plastic bags like this tranny. The plastic products must be washed first, sterilised of any nastiness (DWW wash, UV lamp), and then extracted at ~37 degrees Celsius. This tranny is going to kill himself with his stupid stovetop boiling method at such a high temperature, the estrogenic content will be pulled out along with an array of nasty chemicals for him to suffer from.
I say, good for him. I feel so pwned, troons might go back to hunting BPA plastics for their alchemy experiments in their kitchen.
Is it on the limited list?
You're right, it is.

Sigma-Aldrich's China site has a selection for China only or globally. Selecting China yields no results. Switching to global shows it.
Funnily, β-Estradiol shows up.

I'll get hold of a contact to see what's the deal. China's Merck is definitely different.
