The USD didn't become a Fiat currency until the 1970s when Nixon set up the "petro dollar", that's why the dollar is the reserve currency because the dollar was required to purchase gas.

Currently other nations have been divesting from the dollar and using other things to trade for gas instead. This is a clear move to "dedollarize" as faith in the dollar has waned since other nations now think the US can and will cut them off for ideological differences. You can see it happening in real-time, did you know Saudi Arabia is wanting to join Brics and wants to trade gas for other currencies?

My point boils down to the fact that other nations have caught on and realize they can simply trade commodities instead of using the dollar and this isn't some Zerohedge cope it's actually fucking happening and being talked about by the Federal Reserve.

Its funny how all these nations are regularly mocked in A&N as corrupt shitholes until MUH BRICS is mentioned where suddenly they become this world-spanning economic super-bloc that's going to end the USA's economic dominance sooner rather than later.

Notebly, all of those countries have been fucked over by the American financial system at least once and likely would ahve been doing better if not for American meddling.

The thing is, the current problems we are experiencing are exactly the kind of problems you get when your national leadership wants to run an empire and not a nation. It can't be a coincidence that the limitations on our own domestic freedoms increased right as the DC consensus went all-in on having a global imperial mentality.

It kept things peaceful during the Floyd riots.

As for what would happen if things went to shit, I'd expect the church to be using its resources to maintain the state, and take a active role in politics, Early Utah style. I say this as a resident.

The dollar did not rise artificially, the EURO dollar system grew organically because the US had the fucking biggest navel, and security. Before that it was the English Pound because the while british empire thing.

But I also think us regulators like the FED etc would rather not have to deal with other countries central banks, of the Eurodollar system didnt exist it would make the feds job easier.
