Some furries at AC, mostly dealers, are whining because the con dropped their COVID mask policy.

Never mind the stupidity of attending an event with 10k+ people from around the world, possibly via plane or bus, if you or the people you live with are immunocompromised, regardless of the masking policy.

considering the rate of deaths from covid related illnesses have greatly decreased. i can't imagine these so called autoimmune compromised people will keel over from catching con crud, since convention related colds and flu are such a common thing because people are visiting from all over the place and germs are just rubbing elbows.

If dealers wear masks, use hand sanitizer and practice good hygiene they should be protected even though their unmasked Furry customers are spreading germs and viruses.

Ah, so the COVID policy is largely being ignored? Good, I say. They loosened the rules with FWA back in May, right down to no longer requiring proof of vaccination, and FWA ended up being a roaring success in attendance. Nice to know the fandom have finally crossed the finish line in saying "fuck off" to mandatory masks... three years on.

I'm being serious here. How could they have possibly managed to get to this faggotry celebration in the first place (with all the attendant nuisances of air travel) if a handful of squeak toys making sound is enough to "overload" their senses? Wouldn't a fucking takeoff involve more stresses and sensory inputs than a few fucking squeak toys? And if they're this sensitive, how did they possibly expect to make it to a convention in the first place? And why wouldn't they have expected stuff like this to happen there?

They're either faking it for attention or they're too stupid to live. Either way, ye gods please just smite these cartoonish imbeciles for the good of everyone.

We managed to get at least two Anthrocon sightings of despised furries that have their own threads on Animal Control.

First off, Christan cat-fucker Crusader Cat/Paden Riley (onion) (sneed) showed up at Anthrocon and was once again shunned by most attendees, with the majority of Twitter reactions being some form of LOL EW GROSS. While there's currently no evidence he was disruptive at the convention (nor if he was removed later or not), there are multiple pictures confirming that he was indeed in the convention center.

We also got a sighting of charity scammer/sexual assaulter of teenagers Matthew Soltys/Nitro Rooski/Spark Dalmatian (onion) (sneed). He was spotted wearing his plagiarized Dalmatian fursuit (the one that bears a close resemblance to a suit he failed to scam from the original owner). It's also worth noting the sleeves of the suit look very matted, suggesting poor maintenance and storage of the suit (which is especially impressive given the fact the suit is still relatively new).

(link) (ghostarchive) The YouTube video linked in the tweet is LagoVirt's video summary on Matthew. Lagovirt heavily cited information from Matthew's KF thread, so I'd personally consider it a good TLDR summary of said thread.

Interestingly, unlike Paden, there are currently zero photos of Matthew in the convention center, and he is wearing no badges in this photo. My theory is that Matthew showed up in Pittsburgh to hang out with people outside of the convention center since he's still banned from attending AC. Since the ban would only apply to the convention center itself, it wouldn't apply to the nearby businesses and hotels.

It's funny how they blow up over racism and bigots, and will hunt down people for less, but drawing realistic animal genitalia for fap material is alright. Shouldn't drawing realistic animal genitals/sex be an even bigger red flag?

i've been missing out on shit for a while now, this only emboldens my standpoint that all cons should be 18+ and that we should have jet black Congolese mercenaries standing ready to execute pedos when they are sighted with a machete.

Also expected pedocord fail, i fucking hate discord so much and despite the fact it's the prime spot for every morally reprehensible activity/content it's still the place to be for basically everything.
