I'm not 100% on this but it seems like they plan to give exceptions to a lot of tools. I'm starting to think this whole thing was to break the power the mods have over so much of the site. They can only really exercise this control by taking away the tools that allowed powermods and mods with 500+ subs to exist.

Really this whole thing has blown up in the mods faces. Reddit called their bluff and then they scrambled to keep what little control they have while begging everyone to help them stay in power. The amount of manipulation of normal users in this is outrageous. These tools simply shouldn't exist and they've been used as a weapon against normal users for years. Want to mod a hundred subs? Pay those fees if you need a power fix that bad.

Not to go full incel here, but she was probably already cheating on him or had plans to do so. They were not getting separated for three years, months or even weeks, which is something that can, has, and will break even long distance relationships. It's three goddamned days away from someone she presumably loves, for work/study, and the opportunity is being waved as a carte blanche to get on someone else's dick.

She says they "had already talked about threesomes", but does not say whether he was for or against it; judging by the silent leave, I'm guessing the guy's a staunch monogamist, and she's bringing up the threesome talk as a red herring to indirectly convince people he'd be ok with it when evidence suggests otherwise.

There's a few subs that I've stumbled on that were full on crazy. r/morgellons and r/gangstalking are filled with people that have genuine mental illness trying to pretend that they don't. In r/gangstalking If you try to tell them they'll just call you a perp, a member of the evil forces. If you try to explain to the r/morgellons that it's probably delusional parasitosis they'll accuse you of being government shill. The users there perform their own experiments. It's not unusual to see people saying that the fibers have intelligence not from this planet.
