Wendigoon Thread

No one's going to mention Wendi's Raid Shadow Legends sponsor?

Nipponese really going Full Chink Death on that one, I do wonder what a medical professional would say about the medical advancements by that unit. Funny that getting them nuked potentially prevented a biological weapon being unleashed on the USA, though the target being San Fransisco it wouldn't be that much of a difference. Wonder what if someone would have brought that argument in favour of nuking.

Also having an old fortress being a cover for mass human experimentation would be a kickass idea for a Resident Evil style game.

From what I understand the nips didn't really make any groundbreaking discoveries during their TOTAL CHINK DEATH experiments. I know the US cut the Japs some slack largely to keep the Soviets from getting ahold of the research they did on chemical weapons and germ warfare because the Soviets were demanding access to it but it seemed like the US never got any amazing insight from the so-called "research".

I'm convinced the only reason the US let the Jap perpetrators go is because we're in the "Evil Wins" timeline....

The US let the perpetrators go because that's what the US does. Nazi scientists put Americans on the moon. Oh wait, I forgot, the Nazis are based but the Japs aren't because of reasons.

I think the US got some good research on frostbite and it's effects, but it was mostly stuff like how horse urine affects the human bloodstream after it's injected into it.

Apparently MK Ultra was informed by both Nazi and Japanese research, but that's according to Wikipedia so idk, could be bullshit. No ww2 Japanese researchers were directly involved as far as I know, just Nazi ones.

Not the acclaimed writer of The Counselor!

edit: okay the bottom feeder line was pretty funny
holy shit I forgot McCarthy wrote that movie. It's so fucking bizarre and bleak. I saw it when it came out and the only things I remember are Javier Bardem literally looking like Eric Wareheim as Wayne Skylar in Tim and Eric Awesome Show, and that... thing with Cameron Diaz. And the ending, of course.

I'm only halfway through but it's pretty decent so far. He actually made the iceberg himself and while there's some well-known vidya that have been done to death in there, he chose not to include A-list titles like Resident Evil and Silent Hill which I really appreciate.

There's two things that stood out to me in this vid.

1) I remember playing the PeTA Flash games way back when, and they were much more nicer than what he presented, and funnily enough those old games are available on their website, such as Cooking Mama: Mama Kills Animals. Of course as a kid I had no idea what they were about but I enjoyed them like I did many other Flash games. He could've shown the few interesting games they've made yet he went for some garbage I've never seen.

2) The Columbine WAD is an urban legend that can be easily disproven by just looking at what computers were available back in the 90's, what the other WADs Eric Harris made looked like and what DOOM WADs from the 90's looked like. The thing is that people are too spoiled by all the modern developments in DOOM source ports that they don't exactly know what it used to be like in the 90's.

Back then, most computers could just barely run the OG DOOM on MS-DOS, and the original DOOM engine was heavily limited, and the early limit removing source ports such as Boom were still not powerful enough to recreate the entirety of Columbine 1:1. Plus, all the map editing tools available back then weren't complex enough to pull that off, the computers back then weren't powerful enough to support maps that were that big, and Eric Harris himself wasn't talented enough in DOOM mapping to make a map like that even if it was technically possible.

If you've ever played one of his WADs or looked at the gameplay of one, you can see how basic the geometry was, and how small the maps were in size. REALDOOM.WAD was most likely another fan-made DOOM map or an asset pack made by Eric Harris, but it was never the mythical full map of Columbine, because it was impossible for him to make such a thing in the 90's. He really should've mentioned those technicalities to disprove that theory.

So how exactly does it make sense for Wendi to be able to stomach looking at gore, coming across CP etc for his "research" on his video topics and shit but then he has a crisis moment when seeing a slightly demonic goat on stream? Even as a believer myself, it doesn't make sense.

I'm particularly confused about how he's able to make the disconnect between "follower of Christ" and "yeah I come across child porn during research and watch gore videos lol". Don't think the Lord would be too keen on that.
