Anthropomorphic or anthroporphizing does refer to anything given human characteristics, even when the weather is treated as a person such as in a poem, but "anthro" in reference to furry art has a specific context-dependent meaning and means what used to be called funny animals. So Bugs Bunny or the Disney Robin Hood would be anthro, but not the dogs in Lady and the Tramp, even though the latter are anthropomorphized animals.
