I actually noticed Lynzee does that a lot. Whenever one of her writers finds themself arguing with someone, she at one point randomly butts in to take said writer’s side. It’s happened nearly every time Caitlin got people calling her out, for instance

She didn't even include the peak isekai of the season which Vending Machine Isekai which started yesterday, or the Megane rom-com which reminds me why people hated Studio GoHands. Or KamiKatsu, the peak anime of last season (& this year) which ended yesterday.

The only person I know that has shittier taste than ANN for anime is "Mother's Basement."

Megane's manga is really good and I've been looking forward to the anime. Tiny Senpai looked fun from what I read of it. We all knew Ryza would piss them off becuase the main female lead looks like a female. The manga for Jitsu wa Ore (Am I actually the strongest) is great. Never heard of LvL 1 Demon Lord & One Room Hero but looking at the PV it looks fun, although nothing we haven't seen before.

Other shit this season of note, and I expect her to hate all of them:

• Classroom for Heroes is a fanservice heavy romcom action manga about a not-so-secretly OP hero trying to be a normal kid in a school for heroes.
• My Unique Skill Makes Me OP even at Level 1 is your bog standard isekai trash, but it does start to ask the interesting question of "If your universe is based on video game logic, what happens when some dickhead starts abusing game breaking glitches?" Main character is Everydude McEverydude, but his side kick is a loli / shortstack with superstrength and a giant fuckoff hammer, so I'm sure they'll have a bitchy article up about it. Maybe a rant about capitalism cause they're both poor as dirt.
• The Great Cleric is isekai trash but they might actually like because I vaguely remember it had yaoi vibes?

The show Caitlin is talking about in the 1st tweet is The Gene of AI which started 2 days ago from now. It's about the questions of future & it's effects on humanity. It's actually pretty great, which is why her unironical plebian brain can't comprehend it.

Also, I'm not even surprised that they have no concept of art ≠ artist.

If it's a good show you're missing out on the finer details you could be enjoying

If it's a bad show you're missing out on potential hilarity but you're also not paying attention so it won't be much of a detriment to you if it's shit anyway.

IIRC, it's not the same mangaka, but the same artist from Grand Blue Dreaming.
