Ukrainian Defensive War against the Russian Invasion - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Does anyone know what the Ukrainian military is doing to combat the helicopters launching anti-tank missiles from low and from far away?

They bombed their airports and parked Helis with Storm Shadow.

So probably that, take out their helicopters while they're in range and parked. Haven't heard new occurrences of them taking out tanks with Helis.

Like honestly with how much Russia simps hate the idea of the west being dominant and wants non white countries to overtake them, I legit believe this point NATO is a white nationalist alliance in secret, and I love and support that idea. You look at Russia with retards like Dugin promoting eurasianism that is WE WUZ MONGOLS N SHIEET, along with so called wignats like Fuentes or similar praising non white/western countries/ideals. It makes me wonder how many on the far right actually truly care about whites and not just being counter faggots because Biden supports Ukraine (thought they would probably jump if Trump started supporting Ukraine). Like why would so called "white nationalists" want non white countries to overtake the western world, then again i'm asking to much from /pol/fags, they're not white anyways.

Jokes aside, at least you have politics and possibility of change through it.
Only as far as what Pakistan can do. The US is essentially captured by its intelligence agencies and defense establishments at this point. We still have rowdy politics but any politician that steps out of line or is determined undesirable by the spooks won't get very far.

With the military its more so in the USA they want to find a way to bitch slap China and Russia, that's why they've used the Ukraine war to massive increase production of arty shells and similar equipment, along with reorganizing the marines for a more tropical field of war.
Also with Military in the USA i find it ironic really hardcore boomers MAGAtards get mad at "faggots in the military" but they never bothered to serve in their youth. like troons yes i don't think they should be in the military, but regular gays probably had more guts to join than half the old fucks whining about them.

My favorite part of this war is Americans infighting over their political differences

100%, my favorite was during the Wagner chimpout was MAGA retards claiming it was a plot to cover up hunter biden. Because couping a major nuclear power to coverup some random crackhead makes so much sense. I genuinely do hate American Main Character Syndrome, where everything political thing has to come back to their politics/culture war.
But i like the idea of America being so stupidly overpowered that they can cause coups in major nations at a whim.

Looks like Stoltenberg did the hard, yet responsible thing and told Ukraine that NATO ascension is only possible when conditions are met, and allegedly (can't find news only in Romanian yet) that "without Ukraine winning, there is nothing to discuss".
Also, Turkey's backing of Sweden (Hungary is also saying "it's just a technicality now") is allegedly because US approved sale of F16s and negotiated visa-free travel to Schengen area.
Greece is not liking that. Kurds will like it even less. Turkey will probably take this opportunity to expand its operations into Syria and project more local military power, but such is life.
Russia is not liking it either and basically told Turkey that Yuropoors don't like smelly Turk you are always kebab only Mother Russia is kebab loving Chechen country.

Some compromises, but such is diplomacy. First Ukraine, we'll see to the rest afterwards.

Watch how these obvious news will be spun by ziggers as "victory of Russian diplomacy".
Biden says the US stockpile of ammunition is decreasing, so Ukraine has lost.
France declared they will deliver long range missiles, which means Ukraine has squandered all the British ones. It's truly over.
Stoltenberg stated that Ukraine will join as soon as possible, when the conditions are met. How perfidious. The world takes note.
Turkey supports Swedish and Ukrainian NATO ascension, which means the US has shown the world once again how brutally they oppress their NATO slaves. Russian diplomacy won a big victory.
NATO rearming and growing will increase the economic malaise in Europe, while the Russian economy continues to expand quickly.
The French long range missiles will strike Russian command centres, which will clear out the rot and re-vitalize the Russian army.

Russia just cannot stop winning, which is why this thread is filled with nothing but coping while ziggers sail from victory to victory.

Valerii "Magura" Markus, Sergeant Major of the 47th Mechanized Brigade penned a letter to his higher ups.
I strongly disagree with the decisions on the use and development of the 47th Brigade. We were not allowed to build a military unit in accordance with the values we declared at the beginning of its creation. I no longer have the opportunity to influence or correct the situation. I no longer consider my position as the brigade's chief sergeant appropriate.

I can't leave my men behind, so I'm going to the lowest position of my OWN choice to be closer to them on the battlefield.

The report is already on the commander's desk.

Interesting. I hope this motivates to rid command at least of some of the sovok vermin that infest it.

Edit: The 47th is instrumental in the Zaporizhzhia offensive and suffered large losses due to incompetent assaults. The video from a couple weeks ago of Ukrainian soldiers getting mauled in a minefield trying to rescue already wounded comrades was also them.

Excuse me buddy, this clearly fake news. You should know that Russia's stronk air defense has shot down 80,000 of the 200 storm shadows delivered by the UK, allowing them to captured intact as real missiles and definitely not gay mockups. The remaining 2 storm shadows ended up targeting their launchers like the impervious S300 does and exploded killing 8,000,000 Polish NATO Mercenaries.

Serious sperg:
I don't see any confirmation of helis getting hit, but their support services got BTFO. That also likely means that if Russian Military is marginally more intelligent than the local vatniggers, they will move their helicopter bases back. That will increase the time it takes for helo's to get on station, decrease the time they can loiter, and increases the odds they'll be spotted/detected - even if they can't get a lock, you can tell troops in the path of travel what's coming their way.
Runway kills are good from a "it never gets into the air" perspective but aren't as good as an in-air kill. tl;dr no 500ft+ drop to just ruin the airframe, fire suppression near by, near support/recover, and in the case of the KA-52 blows off a prop blade when the crew ejects. If any helos got killed, I wouldn't be surprised to see them get back to the front by 2024, expecially the Mi-24's
(tl;dr - any Ka-52 shotdown in flight is almost certainly a write off. unless it was direct hits, any destroyed/damaged helicopters will probably see action again)

See above, plus from what I'd heard, Ukraine has gotten better about moving around TEL's. It also looks like they busted out some SA-2s a few weeks back, very possibly to be used for anti-helicopter. SA-2 are very old missles, but IIRC they can be integrated into the S300/S400, so they might be moving older, shorter-ranged missiles needing smaller more mobile launchers to the front for AD.
Also, Russia may have run out, or locally run out, of their extended range Anti-tank ASMs.

And we're back!Well sort of.
Today (or yesterday?) some vatnigerrian general got SS'd

You might be wondering what in the world was air defense doing?
It got HIMARS'd
View attachment 5205086View attachment 5205087
This is S-400 mind you.It may be the first one to be destroyed.
EDIT: Apparently hohols are getting or already got SCALP from frog eaters.Good for them, worse for vatniggers.
S-400 getting wasted is potentially huge if confirmed, especially if it was a HIMARS kill.
What S-400 module was that? Looks like command or RADAR, doesn't look like just a TEL. Also I thought some S-400 TELs and I want to say a RADAR unit were gutted and abandoned in Kherson.

Losing yet another general in theater; just another master stroke of manipulation as Russia bleeds NATO dry.

If a helicopter goes into a low, static hover or slow pattern outside of gun range & under the manpad/SAM envelope, they can still be hit with ground-launched ATGMs like Stugna & Javelin; although it's usually at the range limits of those missiles. There's video for sure of Mi-8s and one Mi-24 (or Mi-28) getting smashed by Stugna or similar.

The Russians learned pretty quick, which is why they don't loiter behind treelines & pop up attacks, except for rare occasions like at the beginning counter-offensive, when they were offered a target-rich environment like those pinned-down Ukrainian armor/APC columns.

It's not been talked about much because the ATGM threat to helicopters is lumped in with the rest, but they definitely have caused another change in operational tactics & doctrine for both sides.

I really don't know what Russia is hoping to accomplish at this point. They had a good run in 2022 all things considered, and have been stopped dead now in 2023. How exactly do they plan to regain the initiative in 2024? For that matter, where will the Russia economy and military industrial complex be come 2025? NATO has pretty much stated they will arm Ukraine for however long it takes, and the rate of Ukraines losses are not fast enough to bring about systematic collapse of their military or state. If anything, the longer this goes on the harder it will be for Russia to cause meaningful damage. The supply of strategic missiles and wat not is not infinite and the ability to replace them at speed is simply not there. Same goes for the tanks and artillery ammunition. Russia's industrial production has fallen dramatically in the past year while NATO has begun ramping up to war time levels of productions. Its not managed to catch up with the rate of expenditure yet, but its getting there and once it does the boot is going to be on the other foot.

Never mind the fact that Russia is hollowing out its officer corps and what remains of its professional army as it relies more and more on the conscript force. Come 2025, the economic force potential of Ukraine backed by the West will vastly outweigh anything Russia can hope to produce with an economy equivalent to the US State of Florida. By then Ukraine will probably have gotten around to modernizing its Air Force too, never mind the Army. The outcome of the war at this point is inevitable the longer it goes on, and the inability of the Ziggers to see this is amazing too me.

I've said it before and it must be repeated. Russia had one shot to win this outright, and that was in the first 4 weeks of the war. The moment they failed to do it they should have cut their losses and taken what they could get. The fact that they did not will probably go down in history as an act of supreme hubris.

To not "lose."
They still haven't actually admitted to what "winning" looks like to them lets not forget. The Kremlin has not talked much about demilitarizing and denazifying Ukraine lately, but they have not exactly updated the demands either. But if "Losing" means Ukraine eventually overpowering the Russian Army and reunifying the entire country, including Crimea, well, the longer this goes on the more likely that outcome becomes. The Russia State simply cannot sustain this tempo for another two years. Ukraine can however, because its backed by the industrial and economic output of 4/5ths of the world Economy. That fact is eventually going to take its toll. Russia had the upper hand, such as it was because the simple audacity of what they did created an outside context scenario, but the adjustment to it is well under way. Eventually they are going to be buried under the tidal wave of ammunition, vehicles, and aircraft that is going to be sent to Ukraine.

The Ukrainians really wrecked this Russian 2S5 Giatsint. It makes me wish we could have the sound to go with these videos. It's like watching a fireworks display on mute. Like when they blew up that BM-21 and the rockets started shooting all over the place.

Hey rural burger from the Midwest here, with a family of working class family members, you're 100% retarded, yeah totally no one cares about social programs, that's why Desantis's campaign is dead in the water after his comments on Social Security and the retirement age came out with people like Trump pledge to protect those social programs (wheter he will or not is debatable). The working class is at a stage of abuse and whenever they're standing up via unionizing which stuff like teachers and the post office have high levels of, instead of you know... paying them a fucking decent wage, retards like you will cry about "daddy goverment bailing us out". You come off to me as a rich cunt that wants to LARP as a rural working class man with a family similar when you want programs that help the rural people and the working class cut. and then people legit wonder why so many christians in america are turning pseudo socialist at this point. We can 100% agree on support to Ukraine and Foreign policy, but i have to heavily disagree on your comments on the working class and of social programs.

As for the Ukraine war, I love watching people not understand basic military shit, like with the French AMX-10RC getting blown up at times and people saying its a "shit tank". It's not a tank, its a recon Vehicle with a 105 mm cannon on it. Its like the retards that claim a Bradely is a tank and say its Ukraine losing tanks when they're blown up. The war has just annoyed me with idiots who think they know military stuff when they clearly don't, both sides are guilty but the pro russia side is more vocal in their retardation of military stuff in general.
This is basically it. A lot of people care about social programs. Like I said the voting patterns of America say differently. People want the government to do something. Which is why Trump won in 2016 would have won in 2020 and will most likely win in 2024. Trump doesn't talk down to poor people. But the establishment republicans do. Trump never said he would get rid of any of the social programs. He said he would fix Obamacare not that he would get rid of it. Millions of people depend on the ACA. Trump wanted to bring labor unions over to his side which was a very smart political move. What do Republicucks do? Go on anti union witch hunts assuring millions of working class white Americans will vote Democrat forever. The Republicans are fucking retards. Desantis never stood a chance anyway.

It's retarded to say the US is running out of anything military related. According to vatniggers and other retards the US is running out of everything but the Russians aren't. I guess the Russians have more T-62's and T-55's than we thought. I was posting in this thread the other day and a bunch of retards were marking my posts as MATI and dumb for simply stating facts and obvious truth. There is no way the US is running out of ammo or whatever. This country spends $800 billion a year on military and hasn't fought a long term conventional war since WW2. That's what I told the retards.
