Idunno boss, it's plausible that Nintendo and nvidia will make a chip that puts more focus on improving AI capabilities, as it's already rumored to have Nvidia's DLSS. I don't see Nintendo being obsessed with graphics, but I could see them finding good use for AI capabilities.Underpowered hardware with a gimmick sold at a premium price has been Nintendo’s model for 20 years. Not sure why Switch 2 would be unique in this regard.
I think 1080p at 60 fps is considered good enough for the vast majority of the userbase. Also most of the highest selling Switch games were Wii U ports or look like it could run off a Wii U.
I guess I don’t see PS4 level power as necessarily a bad thing. The last time Nintendo attempted to be competitive was the GameCube. They will make Mario Kart 9 on it and it’ll sell dozens of millions of copies no matter what it looks like.
Imagine Animal Crossing or Nintendogs with AI improvements.
Imagine Zelda or Mario with actually intelligent enemies (and companions, as the enemies will now be much more difficult - possibly with no repeatable attack pattern)
