Trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney says she felt forced to flee her home country of America as she no longer "feels safe".

The TikTok star admitted she is "sad" after facing backlash for collaborating with two high-profile brands.

The 26-year-old promoted Bud Light beer in April and later modelled Nike products including a sports bra.

Her partnerships angered a number of women's rights activists who actively boycotted the products she teams up with in protest.

Across the US, people began smashing crates of beer while Pamela Anderson's ex-husband Kid Rock wore a Make America Great Again (MAGA) cap as he shot some beer crates.

Mulvaney has now revealed she has traveled to Peru to get to know herself better.

In a video posted from Machu Picchu, she said: "I'm here by myself and I used to do a ton of solo travelling and I'm telling you it's the best.

"If you could ever do a solo trip somewhere it is such a good way to get to know yourself better.

"But I came here to feel something, you know what I mean, and I definitely have, I've done shaman ceremonies that were like 10 years' worth of therapy.

"It was wild. I've seen a lot of llamas and the people here are so kind."

Speaking about her reasons for travelling to Peru, she added: "I feel very safe here. It's a little sad that I had to leave my country to feel safe, but that will get better eventually.

"Most of all, this trip just has me feeling like I'm my own best friend again and that is the best feeling in the world and I hope that you feel that way about yourself too."

I wonder if this is a tax issue? How much did Dylan make for those deals with Nike and Bud? A lot of ex-pats live in 3rd worlds because their dollar goes farther than at home. Like like a millionaire on a $60k salary. Dylan could live like a billionaire with millions in his pocket.

this dude is like a fucking xenomorph except instead of survival he's perfectly evolved to effortlessly generate rage bait and profit off of it. he went from being a D-list theater queer to interviewing the president. he's a borderline household name even in the midwest where that kind of culture normally doesn't fly. that Budweiser thing was genius. the only other troon with that kind of notoriety at this point is Bruce Jenner since he used to be a nationally renowned Olympic athlete. Dylan's only accomplishment is being a fucking youtube vlogger and somehow he's managing to compete and win

It fits pretty well - a troon so hideous and narcissistic that his laugh can reduce normal people to drooling idiots on twitter seems pretty on point

And two weeks later they quietly return home with all prior concerns for their safety seemingly vanished.
