Evangelicals will lap it all up anyway and simply ignore the undesirable parts, just like "don't mix up fibers of different colors"

According to the stats, 71% of the population identify as some form of Christian. Of that percentage, 50% are protestant, of that 50%, 23% identify as evangelical. Putting the actual evangelical US proportion at something like 14% of the entire US population.

And yet some people think they have some undue control of the entire US? It feels like it's some sort of boogeyman.

They piss off atheists like @AgendaPoster, that's why they're a problem. They're Christians who don't vote for libtard policies like the mainliners and Catholics in the east coast do. Those are the only Christians the media has given acceptance to, becuase they vote the correct media mandated way.

Still, I can't get over this r/atheism Reddit recycled shit about "mixed fibers" from Leviticus and Deuteronomy that would literally apply to all Christian denominations. Like gentile Christians aren't old covenant Jews dumbass, this is news to you? lol

I saw a video the other day of Mel Gibson of "The Passion of Christ" fame saying he had read up on the writings of the Saints and that he believes Vatican II was a mistake. Which is basically saying modern Christianity should be blown out of the water.

Mel Gibson can have his opinions. The biggest mistakes really begin with things like people taking Petrine succession and papal infallibility seriously. Or priest celibacy for that matter. Some great cognitive dissoance when you try to latch onto a ficticious lineage from Peter and then just ignore the fact he had a wife and children like a lot of the apostles.

I think religion is an aspiration. Not a realistic goal. And if that hole in you isn't filled by religion, people will try to fill it with something else. As we've seen with the modern LGBT/Marxist/transgender cult.

I don't see why being okay with eating shellfish means you also need to be okay with a pedophile coming to your 8-year-old's school to teach him what fisting is.

This is the new cope from Meatball's team too, checking in on Gay and Cuck's show they were saying the numbers "aren't good but they can spin it as needing four more years to get the job done, because things aren't as bad as we thought," says the two fags riding Rush's coattails with multi million dollar a year contracts. They were also doing the final gasp of Meatball viability, he's young and Joepedo is old, and Newsom will probably be put in place by '24 to run, and Trump still has court cases. Meatball fell off hard this past week, and everyone who showed themselves to be snakes are now going to die in the sunlight they brought upon themselves.

Chris Wray is speaking in front of Congress today, he is looking like such a hack shill and such a failure to do anything he is going to activate some "extremists" to go after Gaetz or Jim Jordan, or he might just have Gaetz arrested for another "totally legit sex trafficking" attempt.

GOP Congress, 2017: tee hee, the FBI is independent, nobody can stop it, tee hee, take that, BLUMPF
GOP Congress, 2023 Wait, how do we stop the FBI?

It is a stale talking point from the 1990s and 2000s, back when Republicans would pay lip service to evangelicals versus nigger worship like they do now. Even during their heyday, remarkably few things were ever actually done for evangelicals, which is why it is funny that people think they ever had any influence. The imaginary theocratic influence was mostly for the purposes of bolstering Bush Derangement Syndrome. The amount of money these prosperity preachers and televangelists made is child’s play considering the money sloshing around in NGOs and activist organizations. Think about how many twink hookers Ted Haggard could’ve had if he made even a tenth Nigger Lives Matter made in the 2020 Summer of Love. Yet them buying a new SUV was enough to send Generation X libtards into a frothing rage.

Yeah the whole Evangelical control of the USA thing was massively over-hyped and currently the target of a big historical revisionist slant by the progressives to try and make themselves look better and their enemies look worse, not much different from how hippies are given a historical upgrade into sounding far more common and influential than they actually were or how commie terrorism of the late 1960's and early 1970's gets hidden.

I actually remember the 80s pretty well. Every Friday, my dad and his friends would put on T-shirts with corny Christian slogans, grab their KJVs and M16s, and drive around the neighborhood, shooting libtards as they walked their dogs. This was perfectly legal back then.

Ray Epps' lawyer, who used to work for Perkins Coie, has revealed that definitely not a Fed Mr. Epps is finally being charged for his blatant incitement of rioting on January 6. Blaming Tucker Carlson "defaming" his client by saying 100% true and honest things about the poor glownigger Ray

Is the whole celibacy thing because of St. Paul?
