Biden Orders Selected Reserve and Certain Members of the Individual Ready Reserve of the Armed Forces to Active Duty - Nice DD-214, be a shame if someone NEGATED IT!

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including sections 121 and 12304 of title 10, United States Code, I hereby determine that it is necessary to augment the active Armed Forces of the United States for the effective conduct of Operation Atlantic Resolve in and around the United States European Command’s area of responsibility. In furtherance of this operation, under the stated authority, I hereby authorize the Secretary of Defense, and the Secretary of Homeland Security with respect to the Coast Guard when it is not operating as a service in the Navy, under their respective jurisdictions, to order to active duty any units, and any individual members not assigned to a unit organized to serve as a unit of the Selected Reserve, or any member in the Individual Ready Reserve mobilization category and designated as essential under regulations prescribed by the Secretary concerned, not to exceed 3,000 total members at any one time, of whom not more than 450 may be members of the Individual Ready Reserve, as they deem necessary, and to terminate the service of those units and members ordered to active duty.

This order is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person.

JOSEPH R. BIDEN JR.

THE WHITE HOUSE,
July 13, 2023.

WIKIPEDIA
Operation Atlantic Resolve, though not a "named" operation, refers to military activities in response to Russian operations in Ukraine, mainly the War in Donbass. It was funded under the European Deterrence Initiative. In the wake of Russia's 2014 intervention in Ukraine, the U.S. and the U.K. took several immediate steps to enhance the deterrence posture along the eastern flank of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), including augmenting the air, ground and naval presence in the region, and enhancing previously scheduled exercises.[1]

The US described the activities as taking measures to enhance NATO military plans and defense capabilities and maintaining a persistent presence in Central Europe and Eastern Europe.[2] Atlantic Resolve rotations are overseen by a regionally aligned headquarters there.[3][4]

US Army Europe
Since April 2014, U.S. Army Europe and Africa has led the Department of Defense's Atlantic Resolve land efforts. Atlantic Resolve provides rotational deployments of combat-credible forces to Europe to show our commitment to NATO while building readiness, increasing interoperability and enhancing the bonds between ally and partner militaries.
As of Nov. 2021, the newly reactivated V Corps has assumed command and control of all Atlantic Resolve rotational forces.
(So, they reactivated V Corps. Here's the thing about V Corps. It's the only authorized European unit for fucking NUKES)

Gee, Joe, whatcha need 3 Divisions for?

Pardon me while I go to the REEEEING DOME.

Consider it fair warning. I'm sure everyone thought the Triple Entente was no big deal either but for a long time after 1918 they knew better.

Just start planning now as opposed to after the MSM airs the "Russia bad we must fight them" speech by whatever clown they install in the White House.

I cannot fathom the resentment that I'd carry by being called up to potentially die to preserve the Biden family's illicit income. Fortunately, I'm too old for the draft and don't have prior service that they can use to make it my problem. Sucks for those less fortunate.
Turning 24 this year, and I know in a draft, 20 year olds would be called up first, then, if needed people turning 21, 22, 23, THEN 24 when the draft happens. That plus my health issues (which bar me from enlistment) makes me more lean towards I don't get called up. I agree that it is going to be horrendous for people who are prime targets for conscription. It's never a good thing to be a fighting age male in a country which loves to play world police to line its politicians' pockets.

EDIT: Typo.

I know it's fun to imagine how you'd totally insult and/or frag whatever woke mutant you think will draft you, but realistically, they'd just offer a ton of benefits for joining the military and get young men to go fight and kill and die that way, like they've been doing for decades now, no draft needed.
Uh, have you not been paying attention to all the articles about the Pentagon's consistent recruiting goal shortfalls?

I think if the Navy is taking 40 year olds, a draft is probably going to go for 50+. I mean, our age of retirement is 67 now? If they get desperate enough to reinstitute the draft, which they know is political suicide, you should bet your ass you're either getting a rifle or a shovel if you're under 70.
Just promise automatic citizenship to a bunch of beaners and you’ll have yourself a hundred thousand strong army in no time.

We've been doing this since the 1800s.
It would be a shame if someone looked up the ethnic composition of the Union army in the American Civil War.

Foreign enlistment in the American Civil War (1861–1865) reflected the conflict's international significance among both governments and their citizenry. Diplomatic and popular interest were aroused by the United States' status as a nascent power at the time, and by the war's central cause being the globally divisive issue of slavery.[2] Consequently, many men enlisted from abroad and among immigrant communities in the U.S.[3] When hostilities first broke out, roughly 13% of Americans were foreign-born, the vast majority concentrated in northern cities; subsequently, foreign enlistment largely favored the Union, which was also far more successful at attracting volunteers.

Roughly a quarter to a third of the Union Army was foreign-born, or 543,000–625,000 out of 2 million troops; an additional 18% had at least one parent born abroad, meaning close to half the Northern army had some recent foreign origin.[2] By contrast, only several thousand foreigners served with the Confederacy, comprising just 5% of its armed forces.[4] The significant manpower advantage to Union forces proved decisive to its victory,[2] with some historians claiming the North otherwise would not have prevailed.[5][2]

Foreigners are a good way to build an army fast if all else fails apparently.

Fuck you Joe Biden handlers. I did my time in and you were the one who wanted me out voluntarily because we were overmanned. I'm more schizo than @Shiversblood and my feet are flat and legs are busted, so good luck getting me passed back in.

Unless I'm defending my 4th generation farm that I am the only heir to, fuck off. I'm not getting roped in your little trap musters, you niggerfaggots, even if I was able bodied.

Find someone else to play Money Laundry Boogaloo. Maybe plug the corrupt holes in the sink where money just pours out and invest it appropriately.

It's not a bad strategy, but sometimes schizos are precisely what they want. Also for anyone considering proferring this you may want to read/watch Kesey's One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest.

Just grab a backpack and buy a plane ticket away from the Anglosphere/Western Europe. Null did it, so can you.

Find an online TEFL Course and get your certificate to teach English to foreigners. You can go to most third-world places with only that, fancier countries like Japan and Korea require you to have a BS, if you're a fan of abusing women, you can get your Masters and go to Saudi Arabia. Not really useful if you want to escape to Europe, they're hard to break into if you're not a citizen of an EU nation.

It can be tough, depending on where you go; but if you really want to get the fuck out the USA.

Alternatively, become a first responder. (Police, Fire, EMS) They won't get draft raided unless shit gets real bad.

I wouldn't even say it's worth it with today's society.

Police should be self-explanatory.

But EMS get told to go to the worst fucking areas and get fucked with, same with fire fighters. Their whole job is to preserve, and they get the same respect the police do. Trying to sustain this hell pit of a nation isn't worthwhile.

This really depends on your locale. I won't argue that the military is safer than some cities but be smart where you apply and you won't get culturally enriched..

I dug a little bit into this news and according to further press releases by the Whitehouse it's only approximately 3,000 people with very specific skills related to the Army Air wing or what you Yanks call it.

I guess they didn't have enough skilled people active to ensure the US could take part in the big NATO exercise in Germany this fall so they're calling back folks temporarily and at great cost. Some really nice bonuses going out to those who "volunteered" I hear.

Cuz they didn't want these 3k people to re-up for more then a few months they had to go this route legally I guess. Call em up temporarily then let em go home after the big show with phat bank in their pockets.

Typical US shit IMHO. Spend money rather then solve the real problem.

I am not American. But I would love those redditors that wanted to fight the Russians to put their money where their mouth is and get drafted into a war were they have nothing to gain only to get shot by a ground troop or drone. Since I remember a lot of them larping around the start of the war as Ukrainian supersoldiers that would 100% destroy the russians once they touch ground in Ukraine and are given their government mandated rusty weapon. But since most of them are lazy keyboard warriors, cowards and communist they'll just sit on their chair and keep using Reddit.
