Philosophy Tube / Oliver Lennard / Oliver "Olly" Thorn / Abigail Thorn - Breadtube's Patrick Bateman.

they went with Dead Lotus couture for his stupid cyberpunk look
Are you talking about this?

I thought it was really funny, then other posts clued me in on it not being a joke... That made it funny in another, but more "dystopian", way.

like imagine what an actual person with this problem like Christine Jorgenson would say if you could teleport her to today?

My old mum used to hang out with April Ashley before she fucked off to London, got the meat and two veg lopped off and and married Baron Bumfucker. April had a role in the 1962 Bing Crosby/Bob Hope movie, The Road to Hong Kong. There's been a role in showbiz for the he/she since pre-Barnum, so Ollie isn't breaking new ground here. Audiences love a freak show.

Mum wasn't bothered at all by April. For someone born back in the 1930's, she was a 'live and let live' type of working class woman -- though if I'd trooned out, she'd have nagged me to death.

She's dead now, so I can't ask her how she'd feel about Choob, but I'm sure she'd have loathed him. She hated pretentious cunts of any variety.

Edit: Apparently, the aristocrat she married was a Hon as well -- Hon. Arthur Corbett, later the 3rd Baron Rowalian. I don't think April raped her Hon though. Other than financially.

He has done very well, but let's be clear he's no superstar. He's had much more success than the vast majority of aspiring actors, but he hasn't had anything that remotely resembles a big role. Just look at his Twitter bio. I think the fact that he includes his tiny role (what was it, five lines across two scenes?) in Ladhood before even his Youtube channel or the play he wrote and starred in speaks volumes. It also seems oddly off-brand. With his pretense of artistry, you'd think he'd put the play front and center. But no, it's in third place behind a minor role and a bit part.

I guess he recognizes that The Prince was entirely his own making and doesn't speak to any broader appreciation for him in the scene.

Anyway, I'll be surprised if Ensign Eurus is a bigger role than the one he had in Django. Pleasantly surprised, because he's fun to watch. I wish someone would cut a video of all his appearances in Django.

Here you go. Remember this is cut from 10 hourlong episodes.

Somehow he manages to look bad in every single outfit he's worn post-troon, the more feminine the outfit, the worse. In this case, he has almost no tits (or none at all) and there might not be space for him to tuck. He obviously just wants to wear something that the GAMP in him would jerk off to.
Consider troons only get A cups with all that estrogen guzzling, any mention of them having 'big tits' without A) being fat or B) getting implants is a lie. He probably stuffs his bra as well, just to make them look rounder when they will never sit properly on a male chest.

Even with FFS, his face is still elongated and huge. There is no erasing that male skull. Troons will always tilt their foreheads slightly forward to change the perspective, so you will not see their skulls head on. And despite some loss of muscle mass, he is still bigger and has a longer wingspan than any true and honest woman.

There's something else I've been meaning to add: $350 for a simple bikini is a price tag a lot of working class people would balk at. That's grocery money. That's rent or electricity money. Hell my bathing suit when I bought it ten years ago was $10 at Costco. This is someone who is out of touch with the people he is lecturing to. That's why he talks in abstract philosophies that don't meaningfully affect him: being born into a blueblood family, going to one of the wealthiest schools in the UK, and having his schooling paid for by very well-to-do parents is something many of us envy. Breadtubers just live off the funds of others and don't even bother to legitimately sympathize with what they are going through. Choob may bitch about the rising cost of living in England, but he won't actually have the lights cut off or starve if he has nearly $500 to spend on a latex bikini.

Any woman who has had to scrounge for money or has had to budget her way through the week on whether it'll be food or heat in the house would scoff at this.

I like when they imply they think porn stars dress like that all the time and that they don't go to the set or store in pajamas or jeans like every woman their age.

There's something very funny about how troons latch onto the concept of "performing the role of woman" as a philosophical idea to justify themselves but then mistake actual performances for true and honest womanhood.

They almost universally don't realize how the "uncanny valley" applies so much to everything they do and that's why it never convinces.

I think it has to do more with most of modern Hollywood writters being fanatical lefties that obviously are also breadtube fanboys, that thing with cowboy bebop and contra was an actual thing so it wouldn't be suprising if this was the result of tons of the show's crew insisting on putting at least one of their idols in it
Oh no not mason Alexander Park that guy can fuck off

Holy shit they made a crappy Django series that nobody cares about with troons in it?! , If the black power pandering mess that Quentin Tarantino made doesn't insult the original movie i don't know what else does, Sergio Corbucci must be rolling on his grave...

That last tweet amusingly sums up Ollie. Rather than decorating his bedroom in a style he likes - festooning it with "egirl vibes" because those are items he is drawn to - he instead attempts to crowdsource ideas for how to appear like he's an egirl, because he's clueless about what those egirls actually like, he just knows he wishes to be one.

Doing the same thing here, trying to portray a certain aesthetic by asking other people. Toob doesn't care about the prints, Toob cares about looking like someone who cares about the prints.

Sergio corbucci was a Marxist, the original movie was made as an exploitative look at "murican racism" which is why Django was a part of the union while Jackson and the others were part of the reds. What Tarantino did is more akin to blaxploitation wrt subject matter, the biggest inspiration being Fred Williamsons Boss nigger, they use political undertones to fuel the story not to propagandize to people. Corbuccis other films are also very Marxist, not gillo pontecorvo explicitly communist but Alan Moore subtly communist. The great silence was an allegory for the assassination of MLK and guevara, the mercenary was a critique of capitalism during the Mexican revolutionary war, Sonny and Jed was misogyny and capitalism 101, the specialists was a critique of murican hippie culture and baizuoism, even the Spencer and Hill movies are quite Marxist with Odds and Evens being against corporatism and corruption while the treasure movie was quite anti imperialist. Sergio Leone was the only non Marxist person in the entire Italian film industry cause he was a tradcath conservative disillusioned by fascism. So as far as I'm concerned corbucci would wholeheartedly support this production.

Well guess no one cam escape from Gramsci's bullshit...

His face still clocks him as a man. And what is it with his voice? Even when he is trying to whisper, it sounds at the same level of normal speech!
I reckon he can't risk lowering or raising the volume of his voice too much because he won't be able to sustain the artificial higher pitch. Cripplingly limiting for someone aspiring to a career in acting.

Who the fuck is he even asking, his followers are even denser coomers than he is. 'Never been to the theater before', remember Tube?

Specifically, if he actually whispers, you no longer hear the pitch of his voice, only the timbre, so his whisper is going to sound like his normal male voice.

A question you ask Google if you want to get an answer, and you ask Twitter when you want people to know you're thinking about the subject but don't have anything to say about the subject.

He could have looked up paintings, posted one, said the aesthetic he was looking for and then asked what people thought. But he didn't want to be rejected or have his ignorance of the subject potentially displayed.

God, he's SO BAD. I'd love to have been a fly on the wall during the casting process. What were they thinking? Just any troon will do?

Was his character supposed to be trans or a real woman? Not sure which is more preposterous - that Olly can pass as female or that outlaws in the Old West would ever tolerate his smug tranny bullshit.

It's something only an empty, soulless person would do. A normal person who wants some art on the wall just chooses something he/she likes and gets it. Instead he invites random people on Twitter to dictate how he decorates his own home. He doesn't actually care about having something beautiful, he just wants other people to think he's interesting and knowledgeable and tasteful. Note also that the Venus of Urbino is exactly the kind of painting Contra would like.

its unreal how bad he is, isnt it? lol.
it sticks out even worse than on stage, cos of the increased subtlety that is tv/film acting compared to the projection involved in theatre.

and yes, it really was just 'any troon will do'- the first time Sky put the trailer on youtube, there was a huge description, in part underlining thier dedication to 'diversity casting', so it really just was ticky-box get a troon in.
good for Olly, it wont last though.

state of it. i was scraping around (couldn't find it again on a quick look) for a bit where he just flat out stares and smiles at the camera with all his co-actual-actors, obviously, not doing so; and couldn't find it anyway, but all the way through the scrub were horrendous stills like this..

horrorshow.

As Wikipedia puts it in the description of the setting, "Django finds his way to New Babylon, a city founded by John Ellis, where all manner of outcasts are welcome regardless of their background or beliefs." So, Olly was cast to be an obvious tranny.
