Biden Orders Selected Reserve and Certain Members of the Individual Ready Reserve of the Armed Forces to Active Duty - Nice DD-214, be a shame if someone NEGATED IT!

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including sections 121 and 12304 of title 10, United States Code, I hereby determine that it is necessary to augment the active Armed Forces of the United States for the effective conduct of Operation Atlantic Resolve in and around the United States European Command’s area of responsibility. In furtherance of this operation, under the stated authority, I hereby authorize the Secretary of Defense, and the Secretary of Homeland Security with respect to the Coast Guard when it is not operating as a service in the Navy, under their respective jurisdictions, to order to active duty any units, and any individual members not assigned to a unit organized to serve as a unit of the Selected Reserve, or any member in the Individual Ready Reserve mobilization category and designated as essential under regulations prescribed by the Secretary concerned, not to exceed 3,000 total members at any one time, of whom not more than 450 may be members of the Individual Ready Reserve, as they deem necessary, and to terminate the service of those units and members ordered to active duty.

This order is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person.

JOSEPH R. BIDEN JR.

THE WHITE HOUSE,
July 13, 2023.

WIKIPEDIA
Operation Atlantic Resolve, though not a "named" operation, refers to military activities in response to Russian operations in Ukraine, mainly the War in Donbass. It was funded under the European Deterrence Initiative. In the wake of Russia's 2014 intervention in Ukraine, the U.S. and the U.K. took several immediate steps to enhance the deterrence posture along the eastern flank of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), including augmenting the air, ground and naval presence in the region, and enhancing previously scheduled exercises.[1]

The US described the activities as taking measures to enhance NATO military plans and defense capabilities and maintaining a persistent presence in Central Europe and Eastern Europe.[2] Atlantic Resolve rotations are overseen by a regionally aligned headquarters there.[3][4]

US Army Europe
Since April 2014, U.S. Army Europe and Africa has led the Department of Defense's Atlantic Resolve land efforts. Atlantic Resolve provides rotational deployments of combat-credible forces to Europe to show our commitment to NATO while building readiness, increasing interoperability and enhancing the bonds between ally and partner militaries.
As of Nov. 2021, the newly reactivated V Corps has assumed command and control of all Atlantic Resolve rotational forces.
(So, they reactivated V Corps. Here's the thing about V Corps. It's the only authorized European unit for fucking NUKES)

Gee, Joe, whatcha need 3 Divisions for?

Pardon me while I go to the REEEEING DOME.

You can call me foolish, neg rate me to hell, it won't change my response.
I will neither negrate you nor call you foolish. I will just point out that if the majority of people in the states were as principled as you then the country would be a better place (which is kind of why you need to stay home and weld stuff not go get slaughtered, but we’ve said our piece.)
Do places in the states have village war memorials? They’re everywhere here. Some villages had their entire cohort of young men wiped out, before they stopped sending lads all grouped from the same places. Almost every town and village in the UK has a war memorial. Usually a plinth/obelisk with a statue set around, names on, and always flowers even now.
What always strikes me is how bloody young they were. It’s all ‘Wilfred Smith, 19.’

Thank you :). As for war memorials, they're spread all over, you'll drive through a boring town on a trip and then boom, a cannon appears. Our Graves are filled with young men as well, every graveyard at least has a couple soldiers in them, as far back as the revolutionary war depending where you are. Memorial day comes around and they'll set up white crosses and flags around each stone. I know that's a chance of where I could end up. That's alright honestly. I feel peace in that, sonehow.

I'd personally rather be at the front of a war than waiting for the nukes to rain down.
This is literally the only thing you said thst wasn't retarded, but ironically, everyone rushing to fight in WWIII is exactly what will cause that. Maybe if warmongers see there's no support for their omnicidal lunacy then they'll back down.

At this point I don't see it not happening. We have had too much good times, and all that has lead to is ruination. The idiots in power want their war and are gonna have it. I do not feel I have a choice to sit it out.

So be me. If WW3 is inevitable, and they send out that draft order, I should at least try to make the best of it instead of hiding as my city gets nuked off the map. My job at that point is to make sure America, and more importantly, Utah and my family, survives. I will have done that.

You have not asked the question either of, if my father and grandfather fought in wars, served their country with pride, what fucking right do I have to deny the call? I have no right. Even if the war is a dammed foolish one, I couldn't look my father in the eye if I ran and hid. It is a moral obligation and a deeply personal decision. If they send me a letter in the mail, I'll show up, but not a second before. That is all I can do.

It's incomprehensible to me that you can somehow doublethink your way into "idiots in power want their war" and "it is a moral obligation", you can't condemn a war as idiotic AND have a moral obligation to fight it.

Maybe if this wasn't going to lead to WWIII (not hyperbole at all, by the way, in case anyone entertains that notion, as Biden himself said as much) it'd be understandable, but there's no honor or moral obligation to help ensure nuclear apocalypse just because your grandpa and dad fought in justified wars. You can't possibly be this obtuse.

You're so stupidly naive I don't even want to insult you.

The hell I can't. It's a job to do even if it's shit. That's what welding is man. And that's how I see this. If it's going to happen, if it's going to be fought, oh I'll fight. And I'll be sure to remember to tell my future children and grandchildren who started this mess. I will have fulfilled my obligation to me, my family, and my country, while making sure that Biden never goes down in history as FDR 2.0, not in my family.

Honestly, if they started a draft for young men to die for ZOGkraine or whatever, then it would be just like the first few months of the scamdemic. Most people would start saying how great it is to die for Murrca and enlist/gladly accept being drafted, while a minority of real patriots would refuse orders. If back in March/April 2020 you opposed lockdowns and mask mandates (and didn't wear a mask for your own convenience, you made those fuckers walk out of the store and load the groceries in your car) from day 1 and never even considered taking that vaxx in 2021, then you're probably good. Otherwise your own cowardly personality will go along with what society says until it becomes okay to dissent like when all the normie conservatives started opposing all of that.

You won't even get nuked unless you live within like 20-30 miles of a major military base (big air force base or submarine base, smaller bases are irrelevant), a missile silo, or Washington DC (in which case you probably deserve it because fuck the Beltway). Nuclear war strategy has ALWAYS focused on hitting those targets first because you want to eliminate the opponent's capability to shoot more nukes back and you want to make sure you're successful since some nukes might miss, fizzle, or be intercepted.

I want you to look up the Wasatch front in Utah then look up if there's a big ass air base right in the middle of it.

You're certainly the perfect soldier, I'll give you that much. You're probably a reincarnated Jap who proudly participated in the Rape of Nanking. I respect that in a way.

I get your point, and in another time, it would be admirable. IT isn't now. This isn't to protect yourself, your family, or even your nation. This is globohomo shit. Your nation, like nearly every other to one degree or another, has been coopted by it. The battle to fight for your nation/family etc is the battle of facing the consequences of NOT joining up. Joining up is to join the enemy. Refusing is the harder road of going against globohomo. Stand for your nation, which is being destroyed by the people who want you as fodder.

A lonelier war, for sure, but no-one said life would be easy.

My 73 cents (2 cents adjusted for inflation).

You make it sound like welding is something bad...
Not at all, if it’s industrial-essential it may even end up as a reserved occupation.
I mean he should stay home and be one of the few actually useful people in the country who are making, doing and fixing and constructing stuff rather than destroying it or himself.

This is honestly why our countries have gone to shit. Everyone that loved their country was the first willing to sign up. My cousin talked to a recruiter September 13, 2001. He dropped out of college less then a semester in out if love. While he didn't die many of his friend did. Meanwhile the trannies and commies will live in their ivory towers talking snout how bad things are but will never sacrifice for their country. I tell every conservative that if they die in a war then their side in this country weakens. I hope Biden institutes a draft just to watch all thr 20 something Democrat influencers try to justify not signing up. I want to see this country get a wake up call.

Reminds me of a conspiracy theory blaming the USA decline into liberalism spurred by red states getting hit much harder in WW2
