Once upon a time, if a small business owner using a payment processor gave their one of their customers a refund via a payment processor such as PayPal or Stripe, the payment processor would return most of the transaction fee charged at the time of the initial purchase. In the case of PayPal and Stripe, this is 2.9% of the purchase price plus a fixed charge of $0.30. The processor would keep the $0.30 and hand back the 2.9%.

A couple of years ago, both PayPal and Stripe started keeping all of the transaction fee, leaving businesses using these payment processors out of pocket when providing a refund to their customer.

Now, Stripe is bringing in a fee of $25 on every transaction dispute charged to the business owner, even if the dispute is found in the business owner's favour.

/ourguy/ @larossmann points out how this can be weaponised by bad actors to target business owners by purchasing a bunch of small items (< $25 each) on separate transactions, and then getting chargebacks on every single transaction, wiping out both the seller's margin and the cost of the goods sold. Sure they get the goods back, but even if resell it for their usual price, they'll still be in the hole.

Perhaps it's for the best that Null has been locked out of the payment processing system, as it'd open up an obvious attack vector against him.

Debit and Credit Cards were a mistake.

@Null Since you did not get an explenation on the WoW clip on stream I will use my autism and explain it.

People have been playing hardcore classic for a while now and every time they are close to dying they use an item called "Flask of Petrification" which makes it so you do not take any damage but can't move.
The dude spent a year building up trust with the clan, joining the discord voice chats and even playing games outside of WoW and raiding with them. He did it so that he could make it to that specific fight which is one of the last raids in classic because the attack the boss does goes thrugh Flask of Petrification so there was no way for the raid group escape.
The man was a very dedicated troll.

And since you shared a classic old clip from WoW I will do so too.
In this video a person has died IRL so his friends and others are holding a wake for him in the game and a Guild decides to raid it. Enjoy the very early 2000 video.

That event has actually had a journal article published on it attached here.

If you haven't checked Larson's thread by now (assuming he has one) this is a reminder to do so. You could also watch Turkey Tom's video on him but that's not exactly MATI material as all of it is old by now.

Surprised you haven't found about him. He's really similar to the old autist-cows that the site got it's start on.

edit: fixed a typo that I only saw about 3 seconds after posting

Just some context for the guilty gear Bridget trans controversy.

The character first appears in 2002 and is supposed to be a cute crossdressing boy.
Same sex twins are seens as cursed in his village so his parents made him wear girl clothes and raised him as a girl.
The characters sees himself as a boy in girl clothes and is confortable with his identity.

Nothing to do with trooning out and drag queens but the gender omnibus made the character a trans icon and in the lastest game it's canonicaly a trans girl betraying the spirit of the character for some.

Apropos of nothing, here's a song that Null might want to keep in reserve for the next time a lolcow ends up behind bars.

yes goyim the fact that you were groomed by the local religious cult into being raised female means that you are definitely a woman... the original creator said so, it's totally not a retcon...
troons make me sick
In the latest season of The Orville there was a child born to two people of an all male species where female birth is exceptionally rare yet somewhat more common than the members of said species are made to believe by their rulers. She was transitioned right away as a newborn in an earlier season and detransitioned as an arc in the latest season, moral of the story being that if you and/or your parents are groomed into transitioning you while you have no or very little agency fighting that is admirable. One of the parents was even a bigot who was pro the forced transition but came around. All of this is very based of course and very pro going your own way against the social pressure of transitioning. Of course the troons didn't get it at all and it's hailed at stunning and brave pro transition thing. I however am tempted to just give that one to Seth McFarlane as an almost overt anti trans message that got through because the pro trans lobby is completely braindead.

um, BASED seth macfarlane? its not surprising that troons didn't get it. they need everything explained to them by a breadtuber or else they cannot function. I suspect this is where the "and here's why that's a good thing" meme comes from

I'm a few minutes into MATI, and Jewrsh asked why jews are pushing trannyism on their own kids. Jews believe humanity used to be genderless in the form of Adam Kadmon and try to restore humanity its original state, unification of divine masculinity and femininity. A lot of the tranny shit has a kabbalic aspect. Rabbinical texts also recognize six genders. Troon shit is ancient among the Jews.

Seems a bit of a stretch. In general orthodox religions do not interpret religious texts in this manner. Pretty sure you would not find this level of fag loving tranny cock sucking in Isreal, or in the orthodox Jew community in America. This shit slaps of middle class cafeteria Jews in the US wanting to tow the party line. Same thing with orthodox Christians, and especially the sand niggers. Just saying, this sounds more like Amerimut fagism than zionist conspiracy.
