This right here is the problem with the modern day left and shows just how clout hungry these retards are. Ignoring people’s personal political opinions, let’s assume you wanted to help communities you deem. marginalized in some way. What would be the most effective way of doing this? You have millions of dollars and tens of millions of people on the internet know your name. How do you go about accomplishing your goals? Because I guarantee you apologizing for saying nigger isn’t go to do anything but boost your own ego and have a few people retweet you on Twitter.
It adds a whole different layer of pathetic to Ian. There is no real world consequence of saying nigger or any other slur other than hurting somebody’s feelings. Similarly, there is no tangible change from apologizing for saying slurs. Ian and Anisa want to appeal to the new woke audience in a way that isn’t risky to them. They want to give to charity, but only in a way that makes them look cool and give them clout. It shows you have no spine and stand for nothing of substance. It would’ve been far easier just to donate $250k to charity or try to promote an economic policy to help people you think were harmed by you, but there’s no clout or money in that so why bother? Basically, they’re not doing this shit because they want to help people, they’re doing this to look good.
