Ukrainian Defensive War against the Russian Invasion - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

I'm still wondering what Hoe Biden gave Erdogan that in the last month he's pretty much abandoned the veneer of roach neutrality. He let the Azov boys go back home and now Turkey has said its navy will escort hohol grain ships going forward whether Russia likes it or not
I don't know, but hopefully kuroid commies get fucked by it as a result

Good old Erdy has definitely been falling into line a lot lately. He's still posturing but in the end he's being a pretty good NATO boy.
He did get the big upgrade to the air force in return for NATO expansion in Scandinavia, but it does feel like there's a bigger deal behind the scenes.

Considering he just won an election recently I wouldn't think he needed much politically right now. Maybe foreign money will manufacture a magical bounce to the Turkish Lira soon to prove his islamic economics actually totally work praise Allah.

I remember reading somewhere a Turkish army base got hit a few weeks ago in Syria. That may have something to do with it. The F16 upgrades probably didn't hurt either.

more important though is the fact the Grain must flow or the middle east goes up in Smoke, along with North Africa and the Sahel. All places Turkey is heavily involved in.

It seems the Erdog is milking both sides for what he can for the benefit of Turkey and his own prestige. Maybe he's waiting for a Russian offer and if one doesn't come, then Turkey looks good and stronk for dabbing on the Russian military with impunity once again.
The grain deal is more important now than last year too, because the EU is restricting the import of Ukrainian grain to protect farmers in the Eastern countries and Turkey also has an interest in keeping Arab hordes fed and at home.

That's really minimal damage. One section of one direction of road traffic got hit. Rail is untouched and the other side looks undamaged.

Of course an inspection team should probably look at that support to make sure there's no hidden internal damage. But its russia, so why bother.
It looks like the deck is resting on cantilever beams supported by a central pillar. So a minimal bit of explosive in the right place will crack it. No sign of burns or blast damage on the top side in the videos I’ve seen.

But this is Russia, it could always just be poor construction and maintenance.

Cracks in bridge pillars are normal and nothing to be concerned about.

Im too lazy to type key point in English, sorry

They do know about MAD, right?
I mentioned this last year when they were threatening to nuke Britain. A lot of Russians have this retarded idea that because Russia is geographically huge it can "win" a nuclear war. The thing they don't take into account is huge swathes of that land is fucking empty nothingness. Other than the resources like the gas fields and shit, the vast majority of the value, and population, or Russia resides in comparatively small areas in the western part of the country, specifically Moscow and St Petersburg. If you nuked just those two targets, something well within the abilities of everyone with nuclear weapons, except for mybe North Korea (and Jeff), then Russia as it exists would functionally be destroyed, regardless of how many millions of square miles of un-nuked steppes they have.

One span of the highway part of the Crimean Bridge has been completely destroyed and cannot be restored, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the situation at the Crimean Bridge.

Another span on the second side towards Kerch has been damaged but is generally on the support, the deputy prime minister added.

The construction of a 250-meter-long temporary bridge, from which heavy-duty cranes will operate, is necessary for the work on the restoration of the Crimean bridge, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said.

Khusnullin explained that, tentatively, it is planned to "launch one span of the roadbed" by September 15.

I read somewhere he said that it is expected to be completely repaired by November 1st.

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday blamed Kiev for the recent attack of seaborne drones on the Crimean Bridge.

"What happened is yet another terrorist act of the Kiev regime," he said at a meeting dedicated to the situation around the Crimean Bridge.

Putin also questioned the military purpose of the attack.

"This crime is senseless, having absolutely no military relevance because the Crimean Bridge has not been used for military deliveries for a long time. And it is cruel because innocent civilians have suffered and were killed," the president said.

Two Ukrainian seaborne drones carried out a terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge in the wee hours of Monday, Russia’s National Anti-Terrorist Committee told TASS. The Russian Investigative Committee has started an investigation into a "terrorist attack." The attack killed two adults, injured one child and damaged the roadway.

Traffic on the bridge was halted in the morning. Traffic on the railroad section of the bridge resumed later. A ferry service also provides a connection to the peninsula. Passenger cars will soon be allowed to leave Crimea by ferry, while trucks will be permitted to travel only through the new regions.

The victims were trying to travel to an active war zone by way of critical military infrastructure at night, for summer holiday.
This is your brain on Russian news.
🤡

Also not used for military purposes "for a long time"? I thought it was never used for that? What is a long time, under 5 hours?
Because 5 hours earlier they said this:
"The Russian Foreign Ministry strongly condemns the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, which is a purely civilian facility. We expect that the international community and specialized multilateral structures will be principled and render a proper assessment of this latest crime perpetrated by the Ukrainian authorities," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Monday.

Double chocolate chip ice cream. Roaches can't resist edible sweets after living off literal trash. Two scoops even.

To be fair, both sides are quick to call every civilian injury terrorism. The ukes can be just as quick to label a building being blown up as a kindergarten for cancerkids supported by a veteran grandma who invented cold fusion. Lots of civvies are getting rekt because it's a giant war in what is/was a fairly populated part of the world.

Of course, the big asymmetry is that the Ruskis did the whole invasion thing and none of this needed to happen.

With regard to the bridge, it sounds like it'll just be oneway traffic on a piece of it for a while, which I don't think would affect the war much.
