It's Stasi bullshit like this that makes me embarrassed that I pay taxes.
Member when DRUMPF got impeached for even thinking about investigating a potential candidate's son's connections to outside political influences?

Man wonder what happened to that guy. Hope he isn't some hypocrite and does the same exact thing he accused someone of, not even... 2 years later.

I don't know what to say about Ron. I had high hopes for him. But either he's just dumb and fumbled his way into things (not impossible), or someone poured some serious bullshit in his ear.
I’ve always maintained that he doesn’t want to run and was pushed to by his wife and other (((interests))) who want to snuff out populism once and for all. A couple other factors though:
  • Four years is an eternity in politics. He was flying high in 2021 and 2022, there is no guarantee he’d be as popular in 2026. So he had to strike before the opportunity passed him by.
  • He can still benefit if he loses. Paul Ryan committed political suicide and was handsomely rewarded for it. If he threw his political career under the bus to try to stop Trump, he will be a very rich man. It’s a no-lose proposition for him.
Zion Ron is an uncharismatic nerd who will do as he’s told. Him flying to Israel to sign bills for Florida shows where his values lie. I think what makes him stand out is how eager he is to suck Jewish cock, which is impressive for a party that prides itself on how much they prioritize Israel over their own base.
Electors can vote for whoever they want. It's been tried at least twice that I can remember. Ron Paul tried to do it to Mitt Romney in 2012 so the GOP changed their rules (ignoring the voice vote) to prevent him from gaining any delegates and nullifying the ones he already had. In 2016 the Clinton campaign did the same but they hired a bunch of Hollywood A-lister and made a commercial that aired nationally begging the electors to do the right thing and not vote for Trump.
Lyin’ Ted Cruz urged delegates to “vote their conscience” while Trump hired Paul Manafort and others to ensure delegates would vote for Trump. In 1968 for the Democrats, the delegates just decided to go for Hubert Humphrey and ignored who they were supposed to go to. Plenty of precedent for them to do whatever. It’s all perfectly legal so they could all just decide Tim Scott or Nimrata Haley is the presidential candidate and there’s nothing that can be done about it. There is no way they are rolling the dice on Trump losing in 2024 the way they assumed it in 2016.

I don't even like Trump but that whole debacle with him and the past 8 years really just made me lose every last remaining ounce of respect I had for anyone in Hollywood. It really helped expose them fully as weirdo mini-cult leader, politically retarded ivory tower lunatics who only give a shit about their elite little club and literally hate everyone who isn't in it. The sheer amounts of manipulation, shaming and shitting onto regular ordinary citizens by these people makes me shocked that they are still supported and worshipped...and that worship by equally braindead citizens makes me hate them even more. If I wasn't already sickened by Hollywood types before 2016, that nailed the coffin shut. They do not care about patriots, they hate people who love their country, the constitution, and their 1st and 2nd amendments. The two attitudes just do not mix. They are just slimy liars, too. all of them.

Even my beloved Arnie has become brain-rotted by these people.

Makes sense they would move to indict Trump again as cover to pushing some more tyrannic bullshit legislation. It's a win-win for the Deep State, they distract people and in the low chance they do get Trump it would be a win.

I wonder how many lines they will cross before 2024 comes around.

Corruption, lying, collusion, pedophilia... nothing surprises me anymore. Just be grateful that things look good from your neck of the woods.

The Governator was absorbed by the California Swamp a while ago. He was initially a populist candidate during the Recall election and seeing it freaked the fuck out of the Democrats and looked for any chance to neuter him. It turned out he was amenable to state machine politics like pardoning Fabian Nunez's son of manslaughter. Then they got Jerry Brown back to completely fortify the state. Newsom is the indolent successor.

Hollywood protected Roman Polanski, Harvey Weinstein, and Kevin Spacey for decades, while exiling Mel Gibson for yelling at his wife and saying "nigger".

And yet, we give these morally bankrupt buffoons the bully pulpit, instead of bullying them into the bottom rungs of society where they belong.

Hollyjew has been political since day one but it really ramped up during World War II.

He got exiled with The Passion of the Christ. All movies since then he had to fund out of pocket like Apocalypto, or with personal friends like Jodie Foster. I’ll let you all figure out why he got exiled due to The Passion of the Christ. One of the most bankable actors and successful producers and directors.

I thought Hollywood was passive aggressive with Christianity. I assume Passion of the Christ flopped because Mel Gibson was a dick and disrespectful during production.

Edit: something about it being anti Semitic with its execution.

I used to think Cartman was ridiculous in that episode. Maybe he's got a point about the Jewish fears of Jesus.

I mean, it's pretty much how it's depicted in the bible... nobody actually reads it though so when you say the whole "Jews had him killed" thing people roll their eyes. But thing was the Pharisee could have had him freed but they chose the thief to go free and to crucify Jesus.

But depicting this as biblically accurate is of course anti-Semitism.

Y'know the meme that Walt Disney was "anti-Semitic"? That started because he testified to HUAC against a Hollywood union rabble-rouser named Herbert Sorrell.

Sound familiar?

Thing is, I came away from that hating the Romans even more. They were portrayed as sadistic savages and uncaring bureaucrats, and they treat the Jews disparagingly.

Meanwhile, many of the named Jewish characters (Mary, Mary Magdalene, John, Simon of Cyrene, Veronica, et al) are compassionate towards Jesus. There's even a member of the Sanhedrin who loudly objects that Jesus' prosecution is a "travesty".

But yeah. Even a mildly unflattering portrayal of the Tribe makes them rend their garments.

It made over $600 million on a $30 million budget. That is a performance studios kill for but Gibson’s career was ruined because of how successful it was.

They prefer shit like Jesus Christ Superstar where the tribe doesn’t get mentioned at all or downplayed at the very least. Gibson didn’t feel the need to obfuscate their role, which is why his career had to get ruined. The message was made loud and clear about attempting biblical accuracy. These days, any funding would get seized to even get it made in the first place.

There was a planned comeback with Gibson on The Hangover 2 but Zach whateverthefuckhisnameis screeched about it publicly enough until that got axed. Todd Phillips is a secret shitlord as we’re finding out.

The New Testament makes a point that it was the Jewish Establishment who hated Jesus, not the average Jews themselves even if he was not that popular.

The same Jewish Establishment that talked shit about Jesus and would OK his execution by the Romans would less than 100 years later back Bar Kokhba as being a Cool Jew with some of them openly praising him as the Messiah, and he proceeded to poke the Roman Eagle with a short stick like a retard and lost the Jews their homeland so hard it took them almost 2000 years to get back and Hadrian nae-nae'd on them so hard it took funny mustache man to get a pogrom to match him.

The honest truth is at the very least they emphasize more with lucifer then they do Jesus. They don't realize or care what that says about themselves.

Im actually pretty sympathetic to them. As bad they could be, they were using a light touch by the standards of the time.

The roman emperor of the era Augustus, liked the jews and legit wanted to make them part of the empire. So he more or less told the occupying soldiers to work with them. They were allowed a lot of rights for the time to worship god their own way without being forced to worship the roman gods. Were the jews grateful for this mercy? Ill let the list of failed rebellions and crucified leaders speak for itself.

So you've got an occupying force of soldiers that don't want to be there told from up high to work with people they view as savage's and constantly getting involved in stupid political power spats and insurgency's

Pontuis pilate is a perfect example of this. He doesn't want to kill Jesus, his first instinct is to let what he considers a harmless crazy go, but he wants the Jew's to shut up and stop bothering him more.

I always think of the roman solider who believed in Jesus and his surprise at his faith. For all their faults, they were one of the first civilizations to try and bring order to the world.

On topic: why is the secret service protecting hunter so hard? https://trendingpoliticsnews.com/ne...-service-destroyed-cocaine-found-in-wh-mstef/ They blew up the freaking cocaine

Counterpoint: the Jews wanted independence, self-determination, and to restore themselves to the golden years of the Davidic Kingdom. They didn't think the Romans had any right to butt in and push them around. They thought Roman hegemony, despite its relative lenience, was still a shotgun wedding.

That's why they had so many rebellions, in spite of them saying things like "we have no king but Caesar", or delegating their sovereignty to ass-kissers like Herod.
