Since we're offering up theories on why disclosure is occurring now, in what seems to be a rather rushed manner, I'd like to put forth something somewhat unique, and unrelated to what has been discussed up thread.

Browsing Precious Metal's twitter(As I religiously and autistically am prone to do) I stumbled upon a connection I'd never have come up with on my own because I don't take this UAP stuff very seriously. For those ignorant to the broader economic space as of late there has been a lot of buzz about BRICS either rolling out or announcing a new currency backed by gold next month, to overstate the magnitude of this development would be a tall task, it spells the end of the dollar as the reserve currency, and an almost certain end to America's role as hegemonic policeman of the global order. America's power, as of late, essentially revolves around the dollar, and the U.S.'s ability to extract resources for free, or at least at massively reduced cost's through issuance of fiat treasuries. An end to this massive imbalance of power could mean not only upheaval abroad but at home as well, something the power's that be would prefer not to see to say the least. The only thing that could distract the plebs from such a massive revelation (even if the plebs are already wholly ignorant of the current state of affairs') would be the unveiling of aliens, a phenomena that if true would lead the world as a whole into an existential fog as we collectively try to sort out our place in this universe.

Take that for what you will, I wont and don't make the claim that BRICS will in fact unveil such a currency in August, but I do expect them to do so some time in the next year or two.

Also for the resident UAP spergs ITT what do you make of Jason Jorjani? Watched an interview with him that I'll link below, personally think he's a massive nutcase, who likes to make rather grandiose proclamations about not only the evidence that exists, but his own importance in the unfolding events.

You have what is essentially 2 Nuclear Super Powers (proxy war or not) in outright conflict over what is currently one of the most precious resources on our planet (the Oil Reserves in the Donbas), Belarus is making active threats about using Tactical Nukes, and if what all these people are saying is true, then there is a 3rd Party in the Theater of War, one which neither side has acknowledged exists, not even to their own Soldiers who are fighting the war, who is potentially causing far wider confusion and further increasing the likelihood for grave consequences.

If either side hasn't even acknowledged the existence of this 3rd Party the chances that someone is going to misidentify something skyrockets and it further increases the odds of Nuclear Conflict.

There are hypersonic missiles hitting real targets for the first time in that war. A weapon that would only benefit from integrating UAP technology. To the point of undermining Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) doctrine.

What if the Zoo hypothesis is true, and aliens have orders to prevent Humanity from reaching space or interstellar travel?

Astronauts went to the Moon several times unmolested, so I don't know about that. If that was happening and known, they shouldn't be wasting so much money on Orion and the Space Launch System. What would the reaction of aliens be to humans picking up their spare junk and advancing centuries in some areas? if there is actual hard evidence of something theyve seen but we havent yet, then my best worldly guess is a new class of weapon or next-gen tech
and dont forget they said this stuff was happening mostly (and ongoing) in military training zones, and has been messing with training specifically
some kind of new spy tech to spy on US training would be priceless to China and Russia
theres a lot of drama going on right now with western ex-military going to China or Russia to train people, a number of them got caught just these past 2 years and are getting federally fucked for it

It's the dry legal reasoning for why Congress needs to investigate. The matter of ALIENS!!1 is secondary, or more like they want to admit it at the correct time in a sequence of events.

The rogue elements are rogue because of the misappropriation of funds and violations of secrecy regulations e.g. the Atomic Energy Act, but naturally other crimes could come to light if the floodgates open. Like the murder Grusch talked about.

That's it I think. Burchett says witnesses have backed out, which he also claimed in some previous interview. Burchett says Graves was prevented from speaking at a previous hearing, and he had to get press credentials from someone to even attend.
