I think it's due to the amount of people online now and the increased interconnectivity and socializing. Around 2007 on 4chan, CP would sometimes be spammed but it was taken care of pretty quickly. People made memes of the pedobear chasing the girl. People would post Chris Hansen. Social Media like Tumblr, Twitter, Discord, etc wasn't fully happening yet.

Most of us were young and naive and thought actual pedos were rare. But as the years moved on and more people got on the internet and social media sites, you gradually discovered there were way more pedophiles in the population than you originally thought. You started reading the stories about the schoolpeople caught, CPS workers being caught, the politicans, the celebrities. So then you dug into the history of cases of discovered organized pedophile rings. You found out about NAMBLA and PIE

Then Epstein happened

You start to wonder how big the spread goes. From some groyper at home on disability, all the way up to the Royal families. How many pedos are actually in the population?

Thats a reasonable standard as its a serious accusation that shouldn't just be thrown around lightly as it detracts from how bad it is.
That said I could without a seconds thought or a moments hesitation pull the trigger on any and all of these fucking "cunny" posters and sleep like a goddamn baby.
