It's really a 50/50 between the inherent power dynamics of perceiving Dragons as powerful and consuming a lot to gain more mass, typically via vore

And just having a 'lucky' mix of degeneracy. I will say from what I have seen it definitely is the former more often than not, but I don't know how 'dom' Butterfuck here portrays his character so beats me wheter there's some deeper aspect of his degeneracy or if he just is for no real reason.

So... if you can kill the OC in a genocide run in UT and Deltarune makes the genocide run canonical, that means that Toby has perma-killed the character in at least one timeline of the game's story with no way for the guy who owns the character to revoke the use of his character in the story. Bet that pissed him off.

episode 1 seemingly confirms Sans exists and will have a bigger role in later Deltarune episodes, so it's unfortunately impossible for the genocide run to be canon.
 
True but you also see the player-character make a Chara ref at the end taking out the knife after tossing the heart into the cage so while not in that particular timeline, it is still canon in the meta multiverse thing the game has going. Either way, I'm sure having him able to appear at all in a genocide run was probably something he didn't know until the game released.

Seeing the thread bumped had me hopeful that ol' Samael Butterfaggot was sperging or being passive-aggressive about Toby Fox again for some dumb reason now that the latest game/chapter in Deltarune is out.

I wonder if he's seething about his whole legacy in Toby's universe is an annoying, nearly impossible to find one-off joke character, meanwhile Toby's had designs from other people in his team alongside his own designs continually making a cast of characters that is infinitely more interesting and likeable than this sped's fat fursona and also not inherently tied to furry fetish porn from the get-go.

Sam is certainly something. I actually knew of him prior to the Undertale fiasco, when the most negative thing about him was some of his fringe fetishes (i.e. hard vore). It was surprising watching him self-destruct at first, but that's waned over the years. Now he's just a sad joke, and frankly not that great an artist to begin with.
Anyway, I just dropped by to point out that he is once again active on FA. I don't know when he yeeted all of his old content, but there you go.

a fun little fact about the 8 server boosts: Apparently Discord allows people with high enough perms to cap how much one single person can boost a server, something that an admin had to do to limit Samael from giving both servers 14 boosts each. Another thing about Discord is that if you subscribe to the $10/mo plan which Samael does have, you get two free boosts and any further boosts cost $3.49 burgerbucks a month. Which means unless he's using one boost per server, Samael is spending $27.92 per month on each floraverse server for a combined total of $55.84.
