I had a question: how old was "cat" 17 years ago?

Some time ago, someone apparently found the year she started/graduated college.

So I found NCAA cat and *I think* her age fits perfectly. She looks like a junior in high school in 2009.

Let's do some math!

There's a newspaper article quoted in that post indicates that someone with the same name was a high school junior in April 2009. That would be consistent with a high school graduation date in 2010 followed by starting college the same year. If the information in that post was correct, and assuming that she was not held back a grade or anything, a possible inference from that information she was probably 17 to 18 years old when starting college in 2010.

That would make her 30 to 31 years old today.

If those assumptions are accurate, one can then subtract 17 from those hypothetical current ages; that would mean that 17 years ago "cat" was 13 to 14 years old.

If that math was all correct, I am wondering why Drexel is posting smirk faces in response to whether a 13 to 14 year old girl was "being degenerate" or not...

I don't have an age for JLove (and I don't know much about her), but here's what I've got for dates:

Drexel said they've known each other since 2005-2006 on this stream (timestamp 28:17), which lines up with what she posted.

To my knowledge, JLove has two boys and a two girls (who are the oldest and youngest). Her youngest daughter was old enough to receive sex education in 2021 according to this stream (timestamp 45:10).

JLove's grandparents were 89 and 90 as of last year (married for 70 years).

Some minor confusion on my part. Thank you for the clarification. So, to paraphrase the chat:

It certainly sounds like Drexel was implying that he knew cat for longer than 17 years according to this interpretation.

My confusion comes from Drexel alternatively implying that NCAAcat was just a sexually active degenerate from a young age (not that he's known her that long). That said, Drexel is doing himself no favors in being vague about how long he's known his sexual partners, especially those much younger than him.

There's no fucking way he paid $30k for that cat painting. This whole time I thought some fan painted it over a weekend as a free gift or something, that painting isn't worth more than a couple hundred dollars if that, and it's just laying on the floor in the corner like it's some random mass produced thing.

I simply refuse to believe any of those paintings cost more than 100 dollars.
I wouldn't even hang them in the the hallway to the bathroom in an office.

- Nick started complaining about jot being able to find electrical cables for his devices. He then recounted that he and the kids were out and doing activities all day without complaining.

An improvement that he did jot bricj about having to be a parent.

- He confirmed his Nashville location as Third ans Lindsley bar and grill. This was his second choice and it will have strict ticketing at the door unlike Vegas. He has not figured out what kind of show he will put on, but there will be an exclusive hangout time for peoppe after the show. He might do something for LOCALS members, hr is not sure. He might take a bit off thr ticket price, do a separate show, or... something...

- Officially AM on Houston guests confirmed are Critical Drinker, Camelot, Christie Mayer, Cecil, Legal Mindset, and Nerdrotic. They will have tables. Legal Vices will be there, AussieOverlawd, maybe Lyla Hart with Chrissie, Uncivil Law too. Only he and the forst 6 have tables. He will do at least one panels. He will have ar least 2 panels: YT panel and his own. He might join other guests if they have panels.

- Nick gives an advisory for people attending the con for the forst time. Weebs smell and look weird. They are positive nice people though, becuase Nick's theory is that they are lonely people who have been oppressed by Chad's and want to just have fun. He said it is mostly safe in Houston. He said don't bring kids if they do not like anime.

- People asked if there is security checking for weapons and metal detectors. Nick said that he saw peoplw checking bags for guns and obvious edged weapons. They also wanted to know if they come in for one day if he will have a set hangout. He doesn't have a specific day, but thr evenings he will be around.

- Nick is not sure how many people will come from the audience who are anime fans, so he isn't sure if he wants to stream becuase those audience members have fallen off. That is part of thr reason he is not on Flashcast to much.

- Nick tamgented off here talking about tho8ght crime vs actually crime for paedos. That branches into government entrapment. He thinks that he is not sure what should happen to non-offending paedos. No punishment, but.

- He wants to get Kevin Sorbo who he billed as a staunch Christian and Hercules.

- LOCALS people want a LOCALS to dponsor a creator con in FL. Nick will ask.

- Nick said his last show's numbers were great! He enjoyed challenging people's beliefs and philosophies. He thinks it is weird and funny when people get mad for him asking questions that explore their beliefs and they cannot see why he is asking. That exposes their shallow understanding.

AM has had trouble getting guests since they've been pretty much boycotted by anybody and everybody in the industry (long story involving the con owner, and allegations of sexual impropriety towards female cosplayers). For the past few years, they've had to rely almost exclusively on social media personalities (many of whom, like Nick, only have a cursory understanding of anime), and Vic. Conversely, the guest lineup your seeing at AM are guests that would have difficulty getting into a lot of other conventions because they're persona non grata for a variety of reasons. If none of the weebs are interested in this guest lineup anymore, AM doesn't really have anything to fall back on.

Nick probably didn't do AM or himself any favors when he shit-talked weebs and vtuber fans when venting about Pippa. I'm sure there's a lot of people that would argue Nick was spitting truths (mainly people who hate anime, and its fandom), but it's hard to piss on a demographic like that and then call it rain. Together with the Vic thing being pretty much dead now, it's not really surprising if his weeb audience has fallen off.
