There's a method of population control used on birds like geese
in places where their population is so out of control their shit has polluted the water body they live by to the point of toxicity called egg addling.
You see, if you just go and smash a goose egg, the goose don't give a fuck, it's just gonna go lay more eggs.
The secret is to use a technique called egg addling which pretty much goes as follows, 2 people paddle into goose territory to wherever their nests are hidden. As they approach a nest an angry goose will charge towards them similar to the picture above. One person distracts the goose using a boat paddle or long stick or something while the other person sneaks into the goose nest. Once in the goose nest they grab the eggs one by one and shake them until the baby goose inside breaks and dies. Then the person puts the eggs back in the nest nice and neat as they were before. Before returning to the boat and making a hasty retreat from the angry goose towards the next nest.
By doing it this way. The geese are tricked into thinking their eggs are ok and will continue to happily nest them with no concerns but the eggs will never hatch and therefore the goose population will slowly lower in number.
How does this procedure make you feel?
