1) Choose a jewplacement of his shitty son-in-law to follow haplessly and wonder why the swamp is still overflowing.
2) Choose even more retarded swamp-rats for his cabinet that will actively undermine him in public and private.
3) Blame the media more while staying proud of his vaccine even as more people die from it.

He might accomplish a few things with executive orders, but that will be the highlight while the economy implodes. After all he likes to spend as well or more than the democrats, and for some reason politicians seem incapable of understanding government spending = government borrowing = printing = inflation.

He is already on record saying he wants interest rates to go back down /facepalm. The only way to stop inflation is to raise rates double digits and stop printing (see 1970s).

No president likes having high interest rates because it effects their approval ratings and is a game of economic hot potato. If you win and then immediately call for the rates to be raised you can only hope some issues with the situation are alleviated because its not tenable for the entire time someone is on office. Going after social programs in this social environment is a mess for any politician as well.

To address the issues with debt and the economy would take decades of long-term planning and that just can't be afforded in a 2-4 year election cycle alone. Any strategy otherwise would be very hard to implement effectively.

There isn't much difference. Under anyone besides RFK and Trump, the Ukraine and Syria wars escalates because Boomers and pre-Boomers love to larp WWII. Except WWIII causes Mexican cartels and/or Mexico to annex the Southwest as the US distracts its defense on wars on the other side of the planet. The US military finds itself feeling the competency crisis even harder from partial mobilization.

Under actual outsider candidates, the media reports the economy implodes and another COVID like scare gets the Lefty states to sabotage the rest of the Union. BLM burns cities again.

Which is why I want Trump to win, and then tell us all we're completely screwed and not actually take office. That would make the Left scream for Trump to take office and that would be the ultimate troll.

Well actual unemployment is at 52.5% and the US is at a trillion dollar yearly deficit. Infact in June the Feds had to spend a trillion dollars to not default on the national debt. So yeah, they are probably afraid of the debt bubble popping.

This alone has me feeling pretty certain that any attempts to steal the election in 2024 would be minimal and fail. We still have 16 months until the elections, and the economy will just continue to break. By the time the election comes around the house of cards the Democrats built with lies and fraud will be falling (or has fallen) and they just won't be able to fight against voter sentiment.

I'm curious to see how Biden's impeachment trial will go, especially when everyone involved will have Trump's impeachment trial to compare it against. I'm not making any predictions though because the government is actively disregarding facts and logic.

This article will look at two causes of the Roman Empire's collapse and see the extent to which its defects can be applied to the decline of the USA as the leading world power. While the influence of the USA cannot be considered imperial, nonetheless, the terms hegemony, leadership, and dominance in the world system apply to ancient Rome and might well apply to us.
Invasions By Barbarian Tribes. In 410, the Visigoths sacked the city of Rome. The Romans rightly referred to the invaders as barbarians because they lacked the learning, skills, and organizational foundations of Rome. Further, at that point, the barbarians were pagan — they worshipped a pantheon of gods such as Woden, Thor, Frigg, and Balder — whereas Rome had accepted Christianity as its official religion.
In the USA, we now see a collapse at the southern border. The seeming bipartisan fence that was erected in 2006 in retrospect appears to be a sham. The fence was allowed to fall into disrepair and was inadequate for deterring illegal access. In 2016, presidential candidate Donald Trump called out the do-nothing Congress and both the previous Republican and Democrat administrations for allowing this "invasion" of illegals to happen. As part of his Make America Great Again agenda, he proposed and then, after being elected, began to build a wall with accompanying surveillance system that was better than anything that had previously been attempted on our southern border.

As usual, people focus far too much on late Imperial Rome's barbarian problem more than everything else. The reality was they kept stabbing each other in the back for power, relying on an ever increasingly disenfranchised people to fight for them, and practically burning money on a pyre by throwing gold at whatever major invader was on their doorstep, funding the invasion instead of preventing it when those barbarians did what barbarians do best. Now does that sound more familiar?

Now does that sound more familiar?

They also would straight up allow the migrating barbarian invaders to settle in their territory as pseudo-client states called foederati which usually didn't end well. Also I should mention that both Sacks of Rome during this period were relatively not that bad for the time. Rome had ceased being the political and economic center of the Western Empire in favor of more militarily strategic cities, as well as the fact that the sacking Visigoths and Vandals were mostly Christians, albeit Arian heretics. They were also actively migrating through the Empire, so they probably couldn't carry as much loot with them, since they were more of a tribe than an army. Honestly the Sack of Rome in 1527 by mutinous Lutheran mercenaries in the employ of the Holy Roman Emperor Charles V was probably worse in terms of destruction.

I think that article (and people in general) forgets the fact that by the time of the sacking of Rome most Barbarian tribes weren't really foreign, most of whom had at one point or another worked with Rome as Foederati and many of whom were allowed to settle in regions of the (Western) Empire that had a very low population in exchange of military service, one of the many problems that the government of Rome had was that it simply couldn't really rule over them effectively since the proper Roman Army was usually busy either fighting itself in civil wars or was busy fighting against other barbarian tribes in the frontier, this allowed the already settled tribes to essentially act completly independent from Rome, doing things like collecting taxes, raising their own armies and, of course, expand their own territory at the expense of Rome.

Despite that, Rome could've solved that issue with a string of competent leaders, that didn't happen because of what @God of Nothing said, they just kept backstabbing eachother over and over again allowing the Barbarian tribes to do as they pleased, whenever a competent and inspired leader appeared they'd usually get assassinated either by the Emperor, the puppet master of the emperor or by a jealous bureoucrat, for every Majorian and Aetius you had 3 Ricimers to ruin it.
